they should have made a Realm Grinder 2 with that UI and an fullscreen mode is necessary! but this is not even playable sorry. nice try but it is to much and to confusing on a so little screen.
I prevered the old clear screen with clear coulors for all factions and just this little nice tresure.

Everything is just really hard to see now. I get the font choice, but honestly, it was a terrible choice. It is so hard to read. It's also hard to tell when buildings are highlighted. I don't have the best eyes in the world, but damn. RG was sooooo much easier to play before! Now, everything's cluttered - and did I mention that the font is tough to read? It went from a clean, minimalist-ish layout that maybe could've used some reorganizing, to something out of the '90s and is nigh impossible to use without straining my eyes. 3/5 (down from 5/5). I do like the quality-of-life upgrades, though. That's what's keeping the game on my playlist, and keeping it from being a 1.5/5 star rating from me.

It'll take a bit of time to get used to such a drastic change in UI. The only solid criticism I have at the moment is that it's a bit hard to tell if I can buy an upgrade. The highlight need to be bolder perhaps.

See when we were provided with content earlier, it came in batches, so adjusting took very little time. Considering that all of that content has been "re-organized" in the new UI , it'll take maybe a week to get used to and then you'll forget all about the "arduous" scrolling. Give it (them) time to breathe!

I have to confess...I'm not a fan of the new UI. Having to click around 4-5 times to figure out what upgrades are available isn't helpful. Having to have the side menu open to see how many faction coins I have doesn't seem useful. Generally speaking, it seems as though is was a genuine attempt to update some graphics and make it more user-friendly, but it seems to have done the exact opposite. Sometimes, less is more. This seems to be one of those times. :(

I like the new look but there's one thing that the old one was way better at and that is the overview (not sure what to call it). Basically what I mean is that the UI is not as simple to see through as before. Before I would just click one button and see everything that I want but now it is not as clear. I know that after getting used to it this will be less of a problem but still things like quickly overlooking your excavated items is "harder: to do now then before. It is just a small thing I know but it is bothering me and I hope that you will be able to change it in the future (although it is nothing urgent just my personal nitpick).

I actually like the way how the game is now. It may be less intuitive, but it really doesn't bother me. From the options you can make the menus more simpler which i did.

Minimalistic UI was better IMO but this one isnt horrible as everyone is claiming. just need to tweak some options for optimization.

The new interface is terrible. This game now looks like you are about to start a tower defense game set in a fake universe. The old interface, on the other hand, worked perfectly for the game, and fit in everything you needed. Please at least add the option to go the the old interface.

I really love the new look, but it's lagging so much and is so over-demanding that, for now, it is actually hunting me off :(

1. scrolling: click(not(!) on the scrollbar)-and-drag upwards 2. buy 1/10/100/1000/max: click on the big green rectangle 3. number of assistants: statistics/production (the 'i', white on blue) 4. number of faction coins: click on upgrades, excavations or research 5. abdicate/reincarnate: click on upgrades

I had mixed feelings about the graphical update for as long as I first saw the previews... and unfortunately I got that feelings confirmed by the live version... Consider me crazy, but I do not like the update at all. I can understand the need to make more room for upcoming stuff, but the visibility took a severe hit with the new "all in one scrolling list" kind of tabs for updates and research. For me it got harder to find the update/research, that I want to buy and the new text font is a lot harder to read for me. Along with the pixilated style, I personally would rather have kept the previous style.. Sorry.

Am I the only one that thinks about quitting RG if the new UI stays as it is?
Games of this type should be fast and provide an intuitive and responsive UI, not forcing you to click through menus and scrolling for finding anything useful.

Tutorial was... interesting. especially since i already had like 857 Qi gems and over 200 excavations done. along with 500+ of every building, she kinda was useless and annoying. Also, pre-update, i had my buy quantity set to "max" and now i'm stuck only being able to buy 1000 of anything and can't find the quantity change button anywhere. and where did my spells go? i see they are still auto-casting since my mana goes down every so often, but no choice to change them

How can I purchase upgrade tiers one at a time? I don´t want to buy all of the same upgrade type at once. I could do it easily in the old interface, but I can´t find out how to do it in the new one.

Scroll is half broken, spell tab does not exist or it is not possible to open it, no more buttons for buying amount or it is not possible of opening a tab for it. Seriously - previous update was better

Will took a lot of times to get use to the new interfaces but ... it's beautiful.
Even if i think it's way harder to get the research upgrade that you want... the templates help a lot

anyway to go back to the previous UI? I dont want to be rude or anything and I appreciate all the work that was put into this new one, its just that you have to do too much scrolling and it feels more complex than it needs to be, and it feels unappealing imo, anyway great job and great game

can you introduce some button that says 'excavate until faction coins found' or something that excavates until you actually find something so your not pressing it so often

i'm just spend all my excavations before i now what to do with research, and just don't wanna grind faction coins to unlock buildings, im lazy, its not game's fault :))
