Had an interesting idea: A toggle-able upgrade which allows one to automatically purchase Faction Exchanges. The reasoning behind this is that once you get to the point where there is only one purpose for Faction Coins (buying exchanges) it becomes unnecessary to manually buy them. The cost and/or faction required for this upgrade could be a consideration (such as making it end-game level expensive, or only available to a specific faction.)
Since it is easy enough to simply set the buy button to MAX and one click each of them to get all you can afford, I say why not cut out the middle man entirely at that point? In some ways it would be no different from any of the other incremental money making conditions (time played, spells cast, etc.)
Just some food for thought.

they are. rowan. look at your current gems and your gain-on-reset gems, then hit excavate once. notice the difference? now do a soft reset and voila! math!

on the angel path god's hand + tax collection is awesome, boost your building gain based on your mana gain then collect 30 sec worth at boosted rate as many times as you can cast taxes skill, the higher your mana gain the more profit it gets you exponentially growing since mana gain gives you higher multiplier AND more tax uses during

why doesn't an upgrade that increases production affect the amount of mana the building produces? answer: it would make the game too easy.

@Pseudonymos those still exist, dummy, you either click the button that says 1X and it will cycle to 10X and then 100X and finally MAX or you open the options, turn that button off, and use the old shortcuts, Ctrl for 10, Shift for 100, and Shift+Ctrl for MAX

I do think that faceless still feel a bit worse than the other neutral factions. However, I find it strange that a post complaining about nerfs is so highly rated, when all their recent changes have been either buffs or beneficial reworks. Their base design was flawed, and it's slowly getting sorted out. The comment about the mana change is particularly puzzling, as the 15% chance per assistant to generate mana every second is giving WAY more than the old 40% chance per click, with the possible exception of using an auto-clicker (which they've said they don't balance around in any event.)

another thing that could be great is the option to switch factions mid-game. it could cost a bunch of faction coins and cash, just to make sure it doesn't get over used, but it would be nice to have that option.

maybe even throw in an extra tier for each faction. it would REALLY help some people... and the drow and dwarf invites could be easier to get, because they are almost impossible to get, even with 2 trillion gems...

love this game! I just wish it showed how much mana you used, and this would be even better with more upgrades that are a little easier to get.

I think this game needs a bit of chaos.
I propose a high level Neutral faction called “Loki’s Folly”
Immediately after selecting this faction, the 7 faction dependent properties would be each randomly picked from the Good, Evil and Neutral property sets (so you can have deep mines, cathedral and orcish arena at the same time)
Similarly, the three 9 faction upgrades would be chosen randomly from the 9 faction upgrades with some significant upgrade to it (e.g Angel Feathers gives 30% increase instead of 20%). The obvious upside is that the faction upgrades are all increased. The downside is that the faction upgrade may not be applicable (e.g., you get “Holy Bells” but do not have Cathedral)

It doesn't work on Vivaldi. This error shows up: Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support.

Hmmm... I'm having Lightning Strike as Pri 1, Call to Arms as Pri 2 and Tax Collection as Pri 3. I get a little over the needed amount of mana at the end of LS&CtoA, but it won't autocast TC... Is there anything I'm missing, or is it a little bug here?

Okay, i currently have 130 Qad coins, and Drow Invitation says it costs 10 Qad but I cannot buy it... what am I doing wrong?

Do. Re. Me. Fa. So. La. ti. Do. Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, there lived a super smart robot, genetically engineered with human knowledge and far greater. With great knowledge and integrity, the robot said to himself proudly: "I should get on Kongregate and play Realm Grinder!". The robot happily began a new game. With his super speed combined with auto-clicker, he practically fried his mouse. After ordering a new one from E-Bay, he declared himself worthy of hacking. After entering the secret code that is so secret I will write it in a secret code: 'Blurp', he quickly achieved all achievements and declared finally as his last parting words, "This comment is a complete waste of skill and your time, and therefor should be in a retards guidebook to nothing!"

No matter how bad the day has been, there is something oddly satisfying about coming home and, with a blank stare and a profusely drooling agape mouth, clicking at a little treasure chest for hours.
