It would be nice if the player could get powerups. The control of the player is not good... so it's kinda frustrating to watch when the enemies are killing you and you can't move or attack.

This game is terrible.
Full of glitches.
the thing that most bothers me is that your attacks, and the amounts of damage you do, is random. sometimes I kill in one hit while pressing forward+T, sometimes while pressing the same thing, it takes 6 hits!
and the fact that the amount of time it takes to recover from a kick for the enemy isn't constant. Sometimes I can get two hits in, sometimes they manage to recover before I land a single blow!
its impossible to form any coherent strategy, and its IMPOSSIBLE when three+ guys gang up on you.

I think this game is great. For everyone who's complaining... learn to play. Duck down to block. Attack with intelligence. I got 98 kills in survival mode on my first try. It gets easier when you get smarter.

i rather liked the game it did its job to entertain me for about 20 minutes and some nice gameplay i was reading the other comments and i think you need this.

one more thing..i think it would be better if the ememy diddnt kick..it is hard when ther r 2 swords guys next to eachother and they kick the crap out of ya

ex. i threw a spear at a average guy in survival mode he attacked me after the spear hit him then i died and as soon as i died he droped dead to... i mean wtf!

My only complaint is that people heal if you attack someone else so if two sword guys are attacking you you're pretty much screwed

this game gave me the hardest time i love history and it made me want to stop playing games it was so bad
1. the people who attack you indivually thier ok to attack sometimes hard to becuase of the archers who are able to attack out of range
but thats not the problem the problem is that they gang up on you and you can't do anything so by the time you try to attack back your already dead
2.archers in general can't shoot through their own units or solid objects but they hit me at a distance and im left to fend for myself in a group of swordsmen and spearmen
3. you couldn't use another character instead in some legends about this guy he is huge in others this guy is slow as heck and carries a bow not a spear
4. you can't get any worse of a game i had to give it a 1 that doesn't come lightly from me i ussually give 3's-5's
but then again most games are better than this way better

Good game. I didn't encounter any bugs, and it was an enjoyable little flash game. It had some flaws, but everything does. 4/5.
The fact that archers can shoot from off-screen is very annoying, though

What's with the 3rd boss who kicks you 3 times in a row, then walks into you where you CANT HIT HIM, the kicks you 3 more times and repeats until you are dead?

Just in case anyone is having trouble with the bosses, the first four can be easily delt with by kicking them until they die. The Spear boss can be kicked, or if you can't get close in time by throwing his spears back between throws. The last boss apparently the only way is to die and attack while still invulnerable.

actually game is better and normal mode and they way continues work is cool. I'm changing to 2, because it's still not that good.

lag... like major lag. On Survival mode... game over with 1 life left? Honestly.. it's boring... it get a 2/5 fix th lag and fix it to where you can use your last life instead of it being game over.

first: THIS gets badges, a buggy and crappy game, how the hell did this happen?
second: it gets a CHALLENGE, like wtf?
third: it gets BUGGY badges... probably it's the game's fault, but it still frustrates me, after I manageg to get past 5 unfair levels with a measly 5 lives and managed to beat the 5 incredibly overpowered bosses.. and I get nothing?! the developer should've used a "beat all levels" thing for the API, instead he used just "number of kills"... so wrong in many levels ¬¬...

wow all the negatives- I don't know what's going on with you guys but I can block swords and spears fine, I think the archers off screen kind of adds another level of dificulty, I didn't experience any lag, I don't believe I got any random damage, and I had no problem against groups of 2-3 on screen, just kicked the first one and went from there. So, despite all the negative feedback, I don't think this is a bad game, not one of the best on the site but I don't see where all this negative feedback is coming from. I mean, if you people wanted a fully developed and non-repetative game what are you surfing the net for a game for?

Kongregate, you guys are really getting desperate for games to put cards on, aren't you. I don't mind hard games, but games that cheat so you deliberatly lose, that's where I draw the line. You can't tell me it's possible to kill 5 enemies, 3 of which are archers, all at once. BS

By the last level the enemy's have the exact same weapons health abilities and moves that you do you only get a random change at a 1 hit kill. Originally I rated this game a 5 because I liked all of the previous work from the creator and enjoyed the graphics violence and graphic violence but after having finished it I am not impressed. 3/5

Archilles only weakness was his heal and y cant hit that and wasn't Archilles like as tall as the empire state building or so. Plz include some fakes from the greek mythology teams. 1 Bowmans can shoot off screen which is annoying. 2 If there is 2 or more enemies on the team ur screwed. 3 NO PAUSE. 4 Crappy game it needs improvment but what game doesnt. Finally I Give it 3/5 as long as it can be fixed and made better. ----------- Mpchick2424 P.S. Plz fix the glitch ive heard u can get the hard badge by killing the first guy in story mode this has intrested me and ive been trying to redo there actions and movements. ;) Thank You for trying thought it it is way better they i can do
