oh my god theres zombies in achilles.
an archer threw an arrow at me after i chopped his head off.a swordsman hit me after i chopped his head off and a spear man hit me after i threw a spear at him.and i got both spears lol

The more I play this game the more I dislike it. Interesting idea, but it's not enough to make the game fun. It's repetitive and the controls suck. Damage is inconsistent. Etc. I know whoever made this game probably doesn't make any money from doing it, but still... it could be improved substantially, and should be, before releasing it. And Kongregate: bad move giving it a contest badge.

Its so incredible that if me and my opponent hit each other in the same moment, then my attack stops without hitting and his hits, BUT when I kill someone, he can still hit me once. 1/5

ah, ok, it works when I restart the game and not while I'm in the game. But I've some other negativ point to mention:
- I can't use 4&5 for swipe&kick and t&y is quite unhandy with a german keybord cause there's ...ertz... and yxcv...
- even when I press space in game to see the controls the game isn't paused and I die, thats not well thought-out.

kaphi where you get to choose what part of the level you go to just click a different level. like after you beat a level you go back to the orange and black screen

I think the hard badge is only "Hard" because of the 2nd level Boss, that kill doesn't count =.=
And the game is really bugged in most aspects.

Good game ( advise dotn play too long ) And The "ACHILLES!!!!" at the manu is kinda anoying :l I mean... DUDE IM LISTING FREAKING MUSIC AND I HEAR A LOUD SHOUT CALLING "ACHHILLLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" >_> Thats kinda iritating :P

not a good game. not a bad one though. 3/5 last boss is too strong... i mean wtf? how do i beat that without like 3+ lives?

Moonly, me too, 2nd boss died when I did. I almost like this game , but I can't get over how you can't control which way your facing, especially when your attacking and you move forward past the guy and he starts kicking you in the back.

The only way to turn this into a good game is to wipe it out of existence. It's rotten on its very conception - the bugs and glitches are just the final space that turn a bad game into an abysmal one. Steering a submarine is far, far smoother and more precise than controlling this thing. Oh, and that "Achilles!" cry at the menu is one of the most embarrassing things on the whole site, which is saying A LOT. I pity whomever did that.

On a humorous note... if you keep pressing down and releasing down then press it again and repeat Achilles will bang his head on his shield

You guys are all stupid.. its a definite 5/5... The only thing to make it a 6/5 is to fix a bit of small glitches and to add maybe a bow? :D..
But other then that its an amazing game... Not a game you are supposed to play for hours on end...

one of the most annoying games on kong. dmg is inconsistent. arrows fired off screen dmg u and stun u. too many enemies can come out at once and stun u too often leaving u well dead. they hurt u thru your shield. people have never ending chains of attacks. the list goes on. originally 3/5 now 1/5. i wud vote lower if i cud

originally rated 4/5 but after playing some more it's now a 3/5 at best. Seem to be a few glitches and each attacks damage doesn't seem to be consistent. I understand from level to level an attack might make less damage as the opponents get harder, but sometimes on the same opponent an attack does different damage even if your proximity to the opponent doesn't change. Also Achilles is no where near agile enough to avoid some attacks escpecially bosses, but even arrows fired from off screen. All those things should really be ironed out for this game to be really good.

An enemy without a head hit me with a sword. Like WTF? Good game, needs a pause button, is sometimes boring, the jumphit is almost impossible to make hit. 4/5.
