Ugh, I take back my three stars. I don't see it being fair nor fun when they're programmed to hit you with the same attack consecutively each time. We the player can't do that (too slow) yet the comp can. At one point I was between two attackers and I was frozen there. Not because of a glitch, but because they kept using the same attack on me. 2 stars.

Killed in Survival mode at 98 kills by an arrow from off screen - and I really don't have the nerve to try this game again. There's no development in what you can do, no power ups, no healing, no specials - nothing, just the ability to kick and strike with your sword with the occasional spear throw in between. Plus, the controls feel somewhat mushy. 2/5

Got killed on second boss, then he just drops dead and I go on to the next level? Not going to bother though, slash-chuck-kick isn't very engaging. 2/5

Every real-time game needs a pause button.
Also, the archers coming from the right shoot before you can even see them, which really sucks.

awesome game 4/5 because if your right on top of the enemy you cant hurt them. other than that, a great game. (spears are cool)

martianman: that happened to me too. The boss killed me, the level ended, and I didn't have enough kills for the last badge.

this is a somewhat fun game, but it is VERY Buggy, and it's almost impossible to not get killed by a boss at least once, as soon as you get stunned your pretty much screwed, i think that the hard badge should be made impossible because it's so laggy and buggy. 2.5.

This game could be much fun, if two things are changed:
1) A pause button would be grate
2) I ofte get hit by arrows approaching from the right screen side... No chance to dodge them

Getting shot by archers that are off screen is bad.
getting stuck close to a bad guy and not being able to hit them is bad.
repetitious background is bad.
it's quite satisfying to cut a baddies head off but this seems a bit random, any way of throwing specific moves every time?

It's a little glitchy, I'd throw a spear at an archer, it would hit him, he would shoot me with an arrow and THEN fall over dead. Also had a glitch where the level 2 boss killed me then died for no reason and it didn't count the kill and I couldn't get the badge. Other then that it was an ok game (3/5)

It's okay. It could use more and more interesting moves, and perhaps some more interesting enemies to kill.
Also, pointless nitpicking about the badge names, Achilles was a Greek hero who killed Trojans, not a Trojan Hero. Yeah, I know, telling facts to the internet is pointless >.>

I love it when I am on a roll and I throw a spear at a spearman, take the head off a swordsman, and then pick up a spear and throw it at another swordsman like I'm a badass, and then some arrow just flies from offscreen and jacks me. It's cute.

the game is fun and its definetly worth playing but JESUS CHRIST there are some bugs alright? ogdoad8 you are a hypocrite, look at your negative comments about the people being negative. Its worth playing but the creator didnt take enough time to make it so you can turn to go left. This game has a lot of bugs, and you cant say it doesnt so until the bugs are fixed, 0/0

You haters are a bunch of assgoblins. This is a decent game (3/5, still playing). It reminds me of the games I used to play in the arcade in the 80s/90s, albeit a simpler more casual version. Go take your ridiculous negativity and shove it up your ass(es).

What the hell? this game is incredibly cheap! The gods have clearly not blessed me with the thousand spaers bug so there for it is immpossible to get the a5 point worth achievment. :(, but I don't realy care. It's fine.

This game is the absolute worst shit to every dribble out of a designer's ass, how this got such an awesome challenge is complete beyond me, kick is completely overpowered, spear is completely overpowered, enemies completely ignore the fact that you just stabbed them in the -face- and promptly boot you in the nuts. Archers fire at you from -off the screen- in such a way that you have zero chance of blocking. Archers fire -through- their own people, arches spawn on -both- sides of the screen in survival... If I could have given this game negative stars, beleive me I would. This is the worst game I have ever played in my entire life ever. I wanted to go back in time to the moment the maker of this game was concieved and hit his father in the balls with a sledge hammer and then violently rip out his mother's fallopian tubes with a mellon baller so that there would be zero chance he/she would ever be born to created this game. I can't even beleive this game was chosen as a game of the week but I'm glad the prize is the entry in a rigged contest.
This game is absolutely terrible. It looks like it was made in about a half an hour. The controls are terrible, the game is so glitchy it is nearly unplayable, and the graphics look like pictures of Athenians I was drawing when I was twelve.
I am seriously considering deleting my Kongregate account just because they chose this game as the game of the week.
