no pause button, archers hitting you from across the screem, glitchy controls... oh, and you have to either 1-hit kill everything or else they stun-lock and kill you. the perfect recipe for a 1/5

the enemies attack wice as fastas i do they kik me and then i cant move or blok and wen i can move again i get kikd again rendering me useless

Pd: I noticed. You deal harder damage if you hit the oponent with the tip of your sword / spear (just like IRL). It's really fun to hit em with the tip of the sword while moving and see their heads go up in a circle of blood or just Chop down their legs. Spears in the enemys eye are cool too :P

4/5 good game, good moves, good blood and head chops with more blood and gorg. Enought to get your fix. Slow though is about the only thing. Probly the best game for it's type on Kong.

Too difficult of a game, seeing as the character never seems to react to what you want it to. Blocking should be of the highest priority, able to cancel out an attack. A spear should reach farther than a sword, and do more damage, since its limited. Overall I rate this game a 1/5, for difficulty, repetitive-ness, and inconsistency. Also, if an archer can see you on an open beach, you can see the archer. But that doesn't seem to be true in this game.

actually, turraga, Achillies was only immune to mortal weapons. in theory the gods could still harm him, or anyone using their weapons.

Pretty much sucks... so damn repetitive and you have 3 commands... kick, move, and swing weapon... I don't want to spend 15 levels hitting the same 5 or 6 buttons... usually 5 as jumping is useless
Having to make sure I don't press forward while attacking with a spear also very annoying because it forces them backwards and if you move and press attack with a spear you throw it... wasting numerous spears in people who are almost dead when I could have used them to take that archer out that just came on screen and shot me mid swing and killed me...
Spectacular ONE out of five... I would give zero but they won't let me tell you that you suck that bad

This game is dumb.
1. Achilles was dipped by his heel into the River Styx as a child, granting him immunity to all blows except those to his heel. If you're going to base a game off an epic hero, you should give him the same abilities in the game as in the epic.
2. The help screen doesn't pause the game, so if you get confused and need help, you pretty much lose the game.
3. Games are usually fun.

The game is mildy interesting, but with soo mant bugs that other uses have already pointed out. I blame KONG and give them four thumbs down for putting a challenge game up with all these bugs, does anyone play test the challenge games or do you guys pull a name out of a hat? 2/5 because of bugs

Controls= Bad
Gameplay= Repetitive and boring
Boss fights= Extremely lame
Also if you stand overtop of the enemy he can hit you but you cant' hit him.

Okay, it's a bit retarded when the enemies come to stand in the same spot as you, they can hit you, but you can't hit them :P That's how I died on the later levels, when all they do is hack and slash ridiculously fast!

jozier, kongregate even says in the badge that it might not work, but they're working on it. and its a pretty well designed game. If u guys are going to be critics about it, u guys make a game!!!

this is one of those lame games where the pause button doesnt even friggin pause. it brings up the menu while the game still goes on and you can be killed

Great game hurt by bugs and lack of balance in the game. First off, I've been attacked by headless enemies that manage to land attacks on my character before they die. Also, off-screen arrows that hurt are annoying. Also as the levels progress, I agree that making them harder is great, but when you have harder enemies start swarming (especially with archers in the background), things start to get a bit hairy. If you can fix those undying enemies, that would be great. Great game though. Keep up the good work.

tried survival after the first boss, 86 for the first
awsome combat, really entertaining game, I dont get it why controls suck it's just great :P

P.S.: you can kill even hard enemies with 1-2 swing if you can find the optimal distance, so fighting against many isn't hard. or just jump over them
