Very very ambitious for a flash game. Perhaps overly so. Right now, it's a bit slow and unpolished. And sparse. I need more to do and got bored kinda slowly. That said, you might want to contact Kongregate about seeing if they'd fund you to make this into a premium game. It has potential to be a fantastic multiplayer game, and you could make use of a micro-transaction system to really monetize the game.

This is all it takes for me not to want to play a game:
"Be carful not to lose all your lives, if you do, your account will be reset."
People take time to get in to and play big games because it's fun. If you can lose all your progress, much of that "fun" is lost. It makes as much sense to have that in a game, as capital punishment makes sense to have in a society. It just makes everything generally pissy.

This game is really fun, it just took me a while to figure out how to move even after reading the instructions. I finally figured out that leave space station meant go into the game, not go to main menu. lol

Final thing: Instead of making you appear on the middle of the side you came on, make it enter EXACTLY where you came from(so diagnal travelling, like the autopilot does, is actually useful).

...what? I was 116 AU from an "west" edge and passed over the south edge and ....ended up NOT 116 from the west edge?

Not a bad game, but if you doubled the speed of ships and turning it would be more fun. I mean, at this speed I can navigate the farthest right ship on the first level of alien ships around te missles of 5 enemy ships firing at once. Doubling ship speeds and increasing fire rates would make it tougher.
