I thought IBNY was one of the more trusted and older mods...
@ Kabob: Don't say anything remotely offensive and no one gets hurt. The only thing I can see going wrong with a ban/silence is a mod not issuing a warning first.

To be fair, kabob is mistaken here. ItBeNickYo was un-modded for obscene commenting on the forums. And kabob never actually says *WHY* he was banned, and reporting someone for banning you? wtf? Srsly, you're trolling on comments and nobody wants to hear it.

Though for the record, one bad apple doesn't mean the entire batch is bad. So you may encounter some "bad" mods, doesn't mean all of them are.

hahaha, ive seen 2 abusive mods. ItBeNickYo banned someone for a week cuz he had something against that person, so his mpd privalages were gone. The one that pissed me off was bobo82, who banned me for a day and i reported her. She changed her account name before anything could happen because she was afraid. The mods have a bad reputation and they dont know it. I know another mod, taryndarkwind who has told me several times to go die. And people wonder why the other users dont like mods....hmm.....

It's funny, I have yet to see an abusive mod in my entirity on Kong. Every single one I've met is fair, considerate, open, and just. Saying that...now I'm almost to the hard badge. Yup, endurance.

well we mods ban/silence based on how deep the damage has been done to the chat.. if you feel that moderators are abusing you, feel free to report mod abuse in their profile..though i believe you blame moderators based on "moderator standard in kabob27's opinion" that you know..

hey kabob i got banned for 24 hours for using the caps i didnt know it was illegal in kongregate i mean i used it cause the chat was talking all the time i wanted to use the caps to get reconize but then this mod bans me cause i didnt stop (well i didnt even hear him) and before i could change it to lowercase i was banned.......was like wtf

about brute forcing, man theres a script for that, well something that prevents u from being banned atleast, but bruteforcing is tough unless u got the right scripts

though you're not the only victim in this case.. accounts have been bruteforced before, that's including my BOGF forum accounts (also numerous other veteran's account).. luckily i changed password immediately..you should, too..

ok, i need to make this clear, its gone on long enough, sheenland is not the black hole's nickname, sheenland is the fake place that the blackhole supposedly brings u to, all the vets made sheenland up to get noobs reset in 6-16, there was a big arguement today about it and it ended with somebody muting me and calling me a noob, *cough* omegawolverine *cough*, i have 8000 kills, i know what im talking about, kyd and jeg made it all up
