It's a wiki with a big couple of numbers... Jestertrek won't tell you 14,5 second arrival time on 4563 distance, but simply "That weapon is good for this" etc...
Bah... ambush killed by a 3guy pro group... However F5+MP-Save rescues you ^^

have u checked out the site? have you read what it is? and jestertrek's site is too biased and is hard to gather stats from and it will be a good base for the new game's wiki btw its disputed wiki

All workers must be knowledgeable and respected in Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy. These are the open positions; individuals can fill one or more positions:
Editors to check posts and fix any factual, grammatical, spelling, and terminology errors. Must be good with spelling and grammar.
Copyeditors to fix format, style, and accuracy and add wiki code to posts. Must be willing to put time and effort into learning wiki code.
Temporary Researchers to gather statistics and properly contribute them in the correct style and format. Temporary positions to aid in putting the information on the website.
Lexicographers to develop the Disputed Wiktionary, especially abbreviations of certain terminology regarding the ships and weapons. Must be willing to work from the ground up with this project.
Also, informal Posters to contribute posts to the Disputed Wiki.

I am looking for people to work on the Disputed Wiki. I am looking for people that are willing to be team players and to be able to do limited amounts of tedious work; I realize that people normally work in bursts and the real life takes precedent over this website.
A manual of style is being developed, and patience and understanding is required of workers as more is added to it.
This website is growing and new features are added regularly; training will be continual in these features according to your positions.

i would say the VB can make it easier to kill some people in Multi due to the constant annoyance of trying not to get into it
Also a little advice
when your using a destroyer or warship make your prox slot an emp very useful

being a girl has nothing to do with it; i prefer the nymph over the defender, simply because it looks cooler, they are both easy to dodge stuff with, I dont use hardpoints

Way to be full of it codename456, Aliens actually have superior firepower while humans have smaller, harder to hit ships... That's the only diference between the two.

Guys, it's shield size, not ship size that matters. However, in terms of the defender/nymph, if u like dodging, go with the nymph, if u like taking less damage (hardpoints), go with the defender. The defender also comes with the higher shield.

"if you are good you can dodge a plasma cannon..." Before this gets turned into a debate of skill, you should know I was just playing devils advocate, and I haven't used the defender or nymph for a while...

i know of very few people who care that the nymph is smaller... if you are good you can dodge a plasma cannon... the 30 shields are more useful

Actually, the defender gets more shields because it is a bigger target, the nymph is smaller, so really they are balanced

not true, defender gets 230 shields, and nymph gets 200, btw king trouble is a noob, run if you see him, all he does is relay

generally when a uvb goes off, about 50% of the time, someone will shott two more and you will be dragged in anyways... i have been cayght inbeetween two uvb's a couple of times, with neither killing me until the one that was created first died out

basically what i do is get far enuf from uvb that it only emps you, it doesnt exactly pull you then it'll just emp you out of the sector. Its saved me alot of times =]

I never made it to evade a UVB... Due to i only encountered it 2 times XD
The one time it explode directly after i entered sector, the other time i not cared about getting killed ^^
Still, UVB is kinda mean... The EMP is freakin long.. without the EMP, evading it would be easy... You could even surf on it XD

I don't think any of them is better, they just rival each other; they are like any other weapons, they do different things and r good in different situations

UVB=EMP+vortex Bomb 10000 range (according to the guides)
PCB=Instant explosion after 10 secs 4000-5000 range (yet again the guides told me this.)
