when u go outside of space station there should be a How To Play in either space station or outside of it near where the graph sort of thing is click on it and it tells u how to play

Don't listen to Kyd. He's probably scared of noobs so he doesn't want you to learn. Alt + F4 does not solve anything. It closes your browser. To play, read the instructions in the menu. Kyd, you are such a loser. You're a noob that hacks and says he is not a noob. Well, you are!

Ranks & Ships are at 26 / 51 / 101 / 201 / 401 / 801 / 1,601 / 3,201 / 6,401 / 12,801 / 25,601 (well, no ship at 6,401 nor 25,601. You do get the advanced map at 6,401, however).
