Just... stop mentioning the hakcers. Yeah, hackers suck, they removed multiplayer, and this happened THREE YEARS AGO. What's the freaking use of complaining EVEN now?!?! Jeez! Stop complaining and crying and whining and "bring multiplayer back plus this up if you agree"ing.

at the start, choose alien (more shields and stronger weapons, makes the hard badge faster) ... buy a sprinter as soon as you start the game, get hyperdrive ($2k), and then the $10k engine upgrade, doing only courier missios ... find the best-paying ones you can ($2-3k per mission), starting from the sector you're currently in ... once you have hyperdrive, each mission should take under a minute to complete ... save up until you've got $100k, again doing only courier missions, and then buy the guardian ... get the enhanced interstellar sprinter engine ($50k) immediately ... with the hyperdrive this gives you, top speed becomes less important, since you'll get to whereever you need to be for missions pretty much instantly ... i used photon cannon for short range enemies, and type 2 carnivore missiles for long-range, but that's more up to your play style

GUYS IT SAID ON HIS PROFILE HES NOT BRINGING MULTIPLAYER BACK!!! So stop freaking crying... This game is good enough to play single player and if you keep crying its not anymore then your basicly saying the game now sucks.

WOW. It's been three years since multiplayer was removed. Why are people still crying about it??? Man try and forget multiplayer. IT'S ONLY A GAME AFTER ALL!!!! :D (yep, I expect this comment to be rated down)

The next time you see a hacker, remember, don't ask yourself what the moderators can do for you, but what you can do for the moderators. Next time you see someone hacking (if SF:DG 2 comes out) report them to a mod, don't yell "****ING HACKERS!", but tell a mod "Mr. mod sir, there is a hacker, can you bann him for me please?" +up if you like my short speech xD

m not completly sure but im the one who hacked the game. When i haked it i put on my kills much "9" more than 999999 and that maked the game owner erase all the accounts. That day the i have haked the game he erased the accounts more than one time and i continued trying to make my kills much without think on what can happen ben erased the accounts i thinked i can do more than he and cotinued much times.Sorry for that i was a stupid making all of that.ill try to make a video see ull trust me.

Why don't you just fix it up so that hackers can't get in, even though it might take some of the game parts out, multiplayer's still better

loved this game,used to play every day a long time ago,then those hacking sons of bitches ruined my experience,so i think i will wait for starfighter 3 to come out,for a browser game,this was awesome,huge fan of your work Ben and i hope to see more awesome work from you,glad to share the same name with someone who makes awesome fantasy and sci fi flash games!

@Magma Actually the new one will be this fifth game in the Starfighter Series. 1. Starfighter 2. Starfighter: Quadrant Wars 3. Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy 4. Starfighter: Defense 5. (Ben Olding has yet to name the soon to come)

I enjoy this game for many reasons.
1.) There is a large variety of ships (based on teh same concept, but names and design are different)
2.) There is a large variety of weapons too (same with same for most, but I like the special weapons the 2 races have)
3.) Its just an enjoyable game! You can fly around blowing things up, or you can be a space miner adn mine the crapplez out of everything.
These are the reasons i DON'T like the game so much
1.) The #1 reason I don't like the game is expressed in 1 word: Hackers.
Because of hackers, I have to start over from my 1000+ kill account and the multiplayer is now gone. If this got changed, This would be my #1 game ( this and Everybody Edits )
2.) Sometimes the game lags for no reason, after having perfect speed, and I die losing all my lives in one shot. Thats happened multiple times for me. To sum this up, This game is an Awesome game except for hackers, as what many other people think.

Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy 3 is coming! This one actually was the second one, the "2" was taken out. Just like Tron, and Tron: Legacy. The first SF was just called Starfighter, with 30 different levels. But SF:DG3 is coming! Ben has put some footage up on youtube and his website. Thumbs up so everyone can see!

i still like tiz game even kno d multiplayr is gone (dam hackers) 5/5 ---->since its not multiplayr anymore i wish dey make it like an adventure like story or sumthin and in 1 of d story mission u hav to destroy d aliens base (or d otha way around) and u get to command others like dey folow u and stuff.......

I must admit the EMP torpedoes get very annoying after your first 1000 or so kills, over half the ships i meet are carrying at least 1 of those hell missiles.
