He isn't going to develop this game anymore but hopefully the sequel will be out soon enough! The game is awesome even without the multiplayer so just be patient and play this till the new one comes out which will hopefully be hack free!

I think you should make it multiplayer again, but you should have admins. or something like that so you can report hackers.

This was my favourite game on Kongregate years and years ago, and I'd play it for hours on end. And only now do I come back to the game, to find out that it's been hacked again and again and that the multiplayer was shut down. This game was better than a lot of P2P stuff! And now these hackers ruined one of the best online space MMOs out there. I feel like crying. I hope those hackers are getting what they deserve.

Here's some advice: At first I thought the energy extraction beam was worthless, but if you can coerce an enemy into using up all of their missiles and mines, it leaves them absolutely helpless and you can easily kill them with the main gun. VERY useful against capital ships.

I love hunting that row second from the top and filling every sector with steenkin' alien corpses. High threat = lotsa money and lotsa kills.

A simple starfighter with 2 pos. con. disks and energy overdrive can get a huge amount of kills really fast. You should almost never die and pos. con. disks do enough damage to get some easy kills.

@jooe15 All ship pairs are statistically identical (with the exception of the Nymph/Defender pair, Defender is larger but has 30 more shields). The only difference is with weaponry, alien weaponry tends to deal more damage, humans have slightly better selection of utilities (Energy Extraction Beam is better for long term fights than the Inhibitor, for example). It comes down to playstyle and some luck really.

Destroyer is just meh its not all that great. The Enforcer is worse though, well it can be good. i tend just to stick with the Raider. The Oppressor is good for easy money so i tend to use it a lot too, nice to snipe everyone. The human Hydra Destroyer can take out more units faster then any alien ship can. alien ships are known for speed so i suggest sticking with smaller ships and just max out there engine. i dont have 12k kills for either side yet though, but if i was to take a guess i would give the edge to the alien ship.

@player1182 its called a black hole. You find them in certain sectors. Write down the sector and try to avoid it next time.

had to destroy 3 medusa battle ships 2 killed themselves with the vortex bomb and an allie killed the 3rd :( hate that

hey nice game, im like im being paid for advertising but check out star sonata 2 its online too, or Transcendence which is single player but with all the "station defense" "escort" etc etc story line missions.

Got a bit surprised when 2 elite destroyers attacked me! i was at 219 kills at a theat 0.5 sector. i know they where elites when i killed them with the help of allies. damn hard though!
