Hey everyone, remember me from along time ago? If not, oh well... I still say 5/5 and... OMG BADGES!!! FINALLY!!! lol, I didn't think the guy who owns kongregate would look at whatshisface complaining about it. And I thought because this is online, it couldn;t have badges...

well eladrin, what do you mean by "we always do the same thing"? do you mean aliens vs. humans? if so, yes but this utterly pwns all other humans vs alien battles.

Great game, though I'm spending too much time building my rank. Some tips: 1) buy lives often to avoid losing progress when you die. Its easy! 2) save up for a hyperspace engine ($50kish), its makes travel painless and makes it easy to raise $ with courier missions. 3) ship upgrades arent as important as weapons, get a basic ship with lots of weapon capacity, good sheilds (like Defender) and build it up and keep it until great ships become available at high levels. Great game! 5/5.

Travel is way too slow and it is pretty boring. The good thing about this game is the multiplayer aspect. Other than that the only reason I play this game is to get the badges!

ALL MULTIPLAYER SECTORS LAG LIKE FK i died 17 times and got reset b4 i even got out of black screen and its not cause my comp sux! 1/5 -_- biggest waste of my life

There are 3 bugs that I found.
1. Ships cannot die, they go to negative shield.
2. What is this, S-NaN-NaN?
3. Game Froze.

Good tigerjojo.,keep up with your kills and eventually you'll reach 801 kills,get either warship or destroyer -(idk,forgot what is ur cause)- and get the hard badge..!

Actually even if I lost all my items, and money after dieing, but not my kills, I wouldn't care about dieing.
It only takes me a few hours at most to earn enough money to buy whatever I want, in the game.

a well done game.
one little gripe i had...if i drop a mine for an enemy and a teammate runs into it...i get penalized many thousands of money, which gets annoying, to say the least. i understand the penalties of shooting a weapon (i.e. a missile) and hitting a friendly, but not for a mine.

Definitely needs a better introduction/tutorial section. If you're not *really* interested in figuring out how things work it's just not worth poking around and trying to figure it out. It was overwhelming and just didn't hold my interest.

My point was, that all those other games do it for a REASON. If you lost all your money and your ship, it would still take a while to get it back. And people will still be afraid of dying... But you should keep your kill count, because you can spend ALOT of time getting it up, and it shouldn't be reset just because of a chain of unlucky events.

Well Congregate, this isn't any other MMO is it? The creator wanted it to make it special that way, so that if you lose, you lose everything. So what if it's a game, not all games have to be super-easy where you lose only a bit of what you've done. This way people actually feel scared of dieing, where in another game they'd happily kill themselves, ruining the challenge in the game. So what if they lose a few items/exp, or w/e.

Do you realize that there's a pretty BIG difference between real life and a game? So certain things can happen in games that can't happen in real life. Understand?
Think of just about ANY multiplayer RPG game...you never lose your stats when you die..just your items...if anything at all.

I'll give a much more concrete analogy on your idea, that would be similar to how the Real life 1 life system applies to this game's 10 life system.
Supposed you get into an accident, and lose an arm... do you expect it to grow back? Maybe surgically repair it via enhancements, but not grow it back, the way you say about keeping the kills/ships unlock is roughly identical to the statement I just said.

Darth, if what I suggested was implemented, people would still be very cautious about dying and all...just if you do, you won't necessarily lose the possibly massive amount of time you spent getting your kill count up.

Fun game, but after awhile it gets boring. Constantly running missions gets old fast. I did enjoy this game for only a couple of days it gets too repetitive. The chances of me getting 800 kills is 0%. Now for the positive things. The ships look great, you did a very nice job on the graphics. The assortment of weapons is very nice, including the mines, which is pretty cool. Also, you made Multi-player sectors, so I can get killed by actual people. You made this game with a unique concept and executed very well. The only thing I do not like is how boring it gets, after you play for more than a few days. I still think you did a very excellent job 5/5.

and a lil advice, if you ARE running low on cash and you have low lives, sell your weapons, then RE-buy the ship your in, and you will make a profit and you will have all 10 lives again ;)

just train urself to take lives as main priority,every under 5 lives,dock and buy,even when u have moneys for other plan..

if i ever get below 5 lives i WILL dock and buy, the last time i lost nearly all my lives was on that 1.3 million bounty run, but ended it at 3 (threat 1 with no hyper is still a big risk for any player) but before that it was most likely about a months ago =/ iv never been below 7 since.

That's what I believe as well, they expect that 1 life is still 2 chances of play.
But in my opinion, is to not to take a chance and do not go to 1 life.

i seem to found out what's the problem of why every first player had been reset once..there's one thing to keep in mind,if you have ten lives,the one u're using is the tenth,not that you still have 10 lives left excluding the one you're using..i asked ppl why they reset and they answer *that's because i have one live left,but idk i thought i have one live left but the truth is the one i'm using is the one live left im talking about,lol*..keep that in mind everyone..

congregate5, then it loses the purpose of the lives system of actually "DYING", has people read one of the last comments I posted about the lives system? Since kills are at some point important, why would that make any less different if it got reset? It's actually what should be removed before money and weapons.

Dont hate the game because of the badgee, you hate greg for that, hate the game from a neutral point of view, as if you had no preferrences

I suggest that, if you lose all your lives, instead of being entirely reset you should just lose all your money, weapons (and other items), and have your ship changed back to the beginner one. But your kill count would still remain the same.

I realy like this game although the mp sectors are laggy and many people on the game hack its my favorite game on here and its fun but dont lose 10 lives unless you buy more lives other wise you're acc (account) gets reset so to every one thats new good luck and try to get 401 kills so you can get a good ship.
