galahan, the point is that it should always be an easily found option in the game. Imagine if your TV only had two settings on sound: "mute" and "too loud." Who cares if you could fix it with a hack; that's not how TVs should be designed.

Is there really no way to mute the in-game sound or at least turn off the music? I like listening to iTunes when playing games.
The game starts off a bit slow (traveling for ages, doing nothing) and there should really be some confirmation dialog before selling things, as well as a notice of how much you'll be selling them for.

another comment; to syke22, im not trying be offensive or prove you wrong or anything stupid, but did you check the facts before saying this isn't a mas mutiplayer? look at the following link for how many people play. i would really like this game if you can colonize planets and buy your own fleet of ships and have a war with players and you can transport to other ships and either take it over or take money

oh anyone in dark matter, the nomad, the rougue shadow, or radioactive hailfire, join Nebulon Starforce, I e-mailed ben to delete the 4 gangs but im not sure if he'll do it yet. I'm trying to only get down to one gang and am tried of being accused of gang spamming XD. this only applies to aliens in one of my gangs besides nebulon starforce

If you so bad at this game it takes you 15 minutes to destroy a defence turret then you need to rethink what your doing instead of blaming the game.
My own comment is:
I've played this for nearly a week before passing judgement and I think it has real potential. Its a little bit shallow at the moment but with further development it could be one of the best browser based mmos ever.

That happened to me once I just finished destroying the defense turrets about to leave the sector then blamo more turrets showed up. But I just destroyed them again Instead of crying to Ben or Darth.

Mewtwo - Yeah, it sucks. But I would also contend that it's the unexpected that really defines a game. You'd get bored if everything was exactly as it said it would be, wouldn't you?

Mewtwo: don't bash a game because you suck or got unlucky... This game is great..... But it could use some improvement in the areas of leveling pace... and such advancements

turret was designed like that..u cant blame the whole game if u cant expect the turret to be like what u want,mewtwo..and also imagine a turret in real life,would an enemy commander give big bounty on a station's defensive turret?

I like this game-it's very addicting-but it needs a lot of work. A lot of the weapon info is inconsistent (in the description it'll say Ammo: 3, but on the buy screen it shows Ammo: 2?). I'd love to know how much damage each weapon does, too. The game just kind of throws you in; it could really use a tutorial mode or something (or a better help section). I can tell Ben is a good programmer because the interface totally sucks, haha =) It definitely feels cluttered.
All in all, though, very addicting and fun. Especially once you start taking out enemy ships.

This game is excellent, the only possible complaint I have is that it seems to me that it will take a ridiculous tie to get the very best ships. What impresses me with this game is how the difference between ships aren't massively imbalanced.
