yup, randomly generated strings of words that fit into a sentence. my favorite one was
"my cats breath tastes like catfood!
I really need a shower, but my mom will get back at you!"
HA-LAR-E-US

Ai torpedos
Ammo:10
range:NaN
Effect: These don't lock on, but they go towards nearest enemy/ally ship and do medium damage

guys can you just cut it out? most of us come here to have fun, not to listen to your petty sqabbles...either sort it aout and get on with it or go fight somewhere else...

hey, theres an anti-kyd group forming-led by me. XD
I can't stop playing this game.
BTW, one of my friends got a game over with 6 lives remaining, and he wants his account re...um...created.

the thing is, i just thought it would be cool to have a co op sector with tons of enemies (more than threat 1) deep in the galaxy.

Yay, kakkoi at least commented on the "Threat Rating Issue" without using complicated math. Good for you. Now the problem is for everyone else to go the same way.

and darth its not a realistic game just a fantasy game. cause there is no friction in space so then why do we slow down? fantasy game.
Which comment was your reply on this? I cannot recall anything about it.

guys... my idea for a threat 2 sector meant that i would enjoy a co op sector with a tone of enemies in it, so players with higher kills could team up to kill like 16 at a time.

in percentages, you would write it as 266.6(with line over 6's)%. In some examples, it would work. Ex: The price of the car raised 200%. I, however, never stated that the rain comment was correct. My assumption was it was one of King's many random blurts.

About this math stuff... For fractions like 8/3, that is not the correct way to write it (as that isn't a real fraction). You'd write it as 2 and 2/3. In percents, there is nothing like this so you leave it as 200%. There is a possibility for something to be 200%, but it yeilds the same result as 100%. For example, 200% versus a 100% chance of rain. No matter which percent it is, it will rain.

Just too clear things up a bit for those who wonder why DJ’s explanation makes since and yet percentages greater than 100 are possible. Mathematically it is possible to have greater than 100%. Mathematically it is also possible to have imaginary numbers (square root of -1). Statistically speaking, any probability greater than 1, aka 100%, is equal to a probability of 1. Statisticians will assume you are a fool if you list a probability greater than 1. Think of a coin toss. If the probability of the coin landing is 2, will the coin land twice? If you answered yes, your life is full of bliss.

The threat rating is basically when an enemy spawns, how likely it is to be enemy. If it is 1 then only enemies will spawn, if it is 0.05 then mainly friendlies will spawn. Having a threat rating of 2 will not mean any more enemies than 1.
