I looked at the comments hoping to see any advice on the hard badge, and I'm surprised not to find anything. Anyway, what you got to do to make this one faster is to switch screens and keep an eye on the "hostiles" counter up there. If it's 1 or 0 when you enter the field then move back. The goal is to wait until the wave of 6 small ships appear. It's not worth it to go after a single enemy because when you enter the screen it will be pretty far away, enemy ships take forever to respawn, and you risk losing your kills to allied ships. Playing normally I got 60 kills in a couple hours, and doing this I got 40 kills in 15 minutes. It's still a lot of work, but it's way more reasonable.

I think being able to put AI turrets on your ship would be pretty cool. I'm kind of defenseless when I'm mining in a huge transport ship.

this is actually amazing, and the auto pilot lets you do what ever you want if you cba moving up all the sectors manually, such an amazing feature it made this game a lot easier for me. 5/5

I love this game, in nearly every aspect ( screw the hackers ) , but i just cant feel motivated enought to sit down and get 12,801 kills for the best faction ship. Once you get up to 800~ it looses some of its initilal momentum. What i mean is that when you start the game, its really fun, the mmsions are versitil, but if i had one complaint it would be the time needed to get a large - weapon equipable ship. 5/5

i believe that with skill u can do anything....i managed to kill a warship,a satyr and a eos solo without dieing using sprinter and carnivore type 1's but needed full volley of carnivores to kill warship

i was worried about the sbecause it hit them with javalins and didnt get any kills, then i fell out of my seat laughing, the ambush consisted of half a dozen TRIDENT MINING VESSELS!!

The reason I suggested the Eos as an early ship is because you can crank out more kills over time with it than any other ship until the hydra at 3600 and even then its a close match. It's pretty much a heavily armed coffin once you start seeing tractors though. I've actually been using the nymph this time through since the turning works a LOT better than I remember.

@Evernewb : I disagree with you, Astro fighter Ship is a better starting dogfighter because of his small size & incredible maneuverability, even if it is a lower-armored ship. However, that's true centaur is a really great ship, actually it's the one I am using now.

cool, starfighter is on kongregate...wish I could log into my old account (13k kills), just how often does the account info get deleted?
PS: Eos proximity defense is a fragile but lethal engine of death for getting early kills I'd DEFINITELY suggest sticking with it until the centaur becomes available, this is pretty much true for the alien equivalents too although their weapons do allow for more decent options.

anyone who had the problem of finding sectors painstakingly slow to cross, buy engine overdrive, its cheap and effective love the combat 5/5

can we make the sectors smaller as travel takes up alot of time and gets quite boring, just a syggestion, not much smaller just they are quite big
