Great game, really enjoyed it...MAKE A SEQUEL (except full world MP PvP with a full fighting and massive bases for siege...just saying)

Thats because it starts on low, you can go into the options before you log in and change that.

A hard point is a hard point is a hard point. No matter how many times you try it will not be successful. You need to get very lucky to do decent damage with plasma cannon on gatherers. Hence I stick with beam and area effect weapons against them.

true dat about the lagger part, plasma cannon head on doesn't do any damage with some alien ships such as the oppresor and gatherer, but 5 rounds should be able to do the damage
