nice going on this game. Its tough to find a balance in this genre and I believe its tough to get multiplayer right. As far as I can see you really did a good job. grats !

I apologize for attempting any humor more complex than a knock-knock joke. I am a high-kill player. I am in the top 50. I am an ED pilot. So in pretending to insult those groups, I was simultaneously insulting myself. That was the inside joke in the comment. On a side note, I'd love to fight Darth or Daikun or Caesar in MP at some point - I prefer MP against good opposition. Wish they were still active. Against the currently active good opposition I get my share of kills, so my ego is secure =).

Ben DID try to design the game so that any ship could beat any ship under correct circumstances. My low-cost sprinter build can take out a Warship (and I have a pegasus build to take out Destroyers), my conqueror build can take out an ACW (and these are not pushover opponents). No tb or EMP weapons required either :D Anywho, dugan is actually fairly good (#19 on MP stats w/1560), I'm pretty certain he was making a joke. Y so srs evry1?

Son, most of the original high-kill players were so damn good in so many different starships that it didn't matter what the matchup was. I've taken out EDs in Nymphs and Adm. Warships with Defenders. And there are a lot of players that are better than me, like Darth Sirov & Daikun and Caesar. Until you can tangle with them and get a legitimate kill, step off.

How did we find out that KingKyd was hacking? We witnessed it. We saw his starfighter in game while we saw him in here on Kong Chat. He was flying a Alien Elite Destroyer before anyone other than myself had reached that Rank. Don't tell me that KingKyd doesn't cheat when I sat right here and watched it occur.

That doesnt make any sence bowdown* i mean the game is the game, you saying it should be better than kongai is completely silly, a game is what you make of it, and in MY opinion kongai and starfighter are both 6/5 plus they are both completely different types of game so you cant define witch is better.

You have to take your time and learn about the game. But beyond that any ship has the ability to beat the heck out of any other ship id used proporly.

I am amused. Make there be no intro? That removes any plot context, which is vital for most kinds of games, including RPGs/RPG-esque games.
I'll say that it's still going strong, given that about 2500 unique log-ons happen regularly.
Games are here for relaxation, not so?
