To me... The best starters are Wood elves since rangers are pretty good if you spam and halberdier is also good for spam.Also a tip:If your going to spam... Go to options during a game i think and click auto send units...and it wont send if it says 'charge'. sorry for long comment >.>

i played with undead halberds first but then re-started and switched to mountain trolls. If you buy giant trolls as soon as possible then you beat the game. I won the gae with the troll/swordsman combo

It's spear... I think because my whirlers did more damage when I upgraded spear... It may be spear and halberd combined. Armour is good if you don't know what to upgrade for them.

my fav ppl are the night elves cause whirler is equal to giaant troll but attacks faster, but what upgrades whirler? spear or halberd

wow i just killed a 57% difficulty demon place on my 4th lvl.. all you gotta do is play undead and use the first 500 gold to buy halberdier infantry.. then just spam them in a straight line lol.. not even one demon made it past and i was at like 6% diffculty people

Upgrade spearmen, speed, and armor, as much as possible,
send out a mage, followed by nothing but spear men, the mage will pause to attack when an enemie comes near, giving the spear men time to catch for and attack

Left the demons last. I think I lost one match in the entirety of the game, and that was the Men of the West with their cavalry. Basically just spam your best unit.

i love this game tryed everything but by far the best stratergy is using swordmen(long and king gaurds as well) maxing speed, armor and sword

Best way to beat the demons is to buy the giant troll using the mountain trolls and then send 1 out with a bunch of spearmen in the same collum.

battle axeman is not an elite halberdier. it is like a halberdier but you upgrade it by upgrading axemen. it is an axe class with only one (but quick and powerful) type of attack.
