i only killed the wood elves before i moved to the demons but just make sure you do it before the demons difficulty goes up

be the human alliance and attack demons early using only swords and archers and the occasional spearman to run to the unprotected lanes

I did it last level!
Be night elves then train spear and only yse spearmen after like lvl 3 spear, then buy whirler and upgrade halberd! (last lvl is 105%!)

Mountain Trolls are the the best characters... If you have trouble beating them, here is a point - while it is getting ready, send out scouts, spearmen or mounted units to cross the screen and get the bar up. When the opponent sends the mountain troll out, don't put any units in its way, or it will kill them and make a charge of 8 trolls.

the best is when you get wood elvs and start using a whole bunch of rangers in the same place for complete rapid fire arrows and there like, hundreds of them!

ROFL, Orcs of the south are crap actually, their specific unit is weak and boring. Men of the west are just like the Human Alliance, only weaker, the specific unit for them is rubbish as well. King's Guards own Javelin Throwers ok?

For those of you having trouble doing well in this game, here are a few tips which if used, works really well:
1. The 4 best races, without Demons are:
a)Night Elves
b)Human Alliance
c)The Undead
d)Wood Elves
2. Whatever race you use, the first thing you should buy is the SPECIFIC UNIT for that race, save up for it, no matter how much it costs.
3. If you are not The Undead, try to complete Dead Plains, the hardest Undead area as soon as possible, best done once you have bought your race's SPECIFIC UNIT.
4. Try to tackle all of the Demons areas from about 60% onwards, by then you should have a strong army, and it won't be harder if you leave them to fight last.
5. Try to upgrade your SPECIFIC UNIT'S weapon type's power as much as you can, use the strategy guide if you need ot know which weapon type the unit uses.
