Jestertrek: I thought money for levels was random, too, until I figured out that it is directly related to # of kills and nothing more. I don't think you get anything for sending a guy through, but you get $5 for each kill (I think -- too lazy to test this again). Strangely, this does not really reward you for winning, but for killing, so in the early game it's best to rack up kills rather than slip guys past the defenses, as I did.

Excellent concept, but the execution is flawed in several areas. First, the good: this is an excellent strategy game... complex and requiring different tactics to be successful. There are fairly obvious weapon strengths and weaknesses, and if you try to spam a single unit, you'll generally fail. Individual battles are also generally fun and engaging. Now, the bad. There is too much luck built into the structure. Charges are hugely unbalancing, and there doesn't seem to be a good way to manage them. Rather than being randomly "ready," each player should get a specific number of charges that can be used at various stages of the game. The randomness of the charges means that there are MANY levels that have to be done over and over again. Money for winning levels also seems a bit random. This is a great game, but some of the execution problems drag it down. Call it 3/5. Hopefully, there will be a sequel, and it will address some of these issues!

i defeat demons first!haha!thats my strategy...because if you challenge them last the difficulty is very high!so...defeat demons first!

Zephyr, just make one King's Guard, then spam swords in that line for the rest of the time.
Spearmasters and spears will be annihilated by the first king's guard, and the swords take the territory the rest of the time.

Oh my god, Giant Troll Charges!! I only win agaisnt the dammed giant trolls cause the low IA in charge selection of the computer!
But this game deserves a better version, with some empire admistration and enemy attacks... This will rock!

It's a nice strategic game, where i even get challenged....
But i'm one of those, who like it to have a history, a meaning... But there's no meaning in this other than hardcore butchering... So i wont rate it as high as i want to give it. Soz :(

geez, I play Dark Elves, they're focused on archers - but I have to mass my halberds instead! Even with racial bonus to archers they're worth nothing on the field! Geez, why you cut them so brutally??

Heh, got the card easy with Men of the West and their Longswordsmen. And all before I had to leave for work, too. Didn't even break a sweat during.

many people say its difficult, dont know if it is a bug but if you keep sending soldiers in the same row all the time you beat the game easily.
I have playe the game in the way it is supposed to be played and in desperation I find that kind of bug in the last 3 battles. I have replay it and if you do that u can beat the whole game easily but it is not so fun

Ka did you refresh the page and the game is very uneven. the giant trolls by themselves can easily get 20kills in about 1min making the trolls too good and the whirlers and king guards kill almos every other unit in a few hits except giant troll. plz fix the uneven playing style. thank you.

As I get through the game now at its hardest I wish the 1.1 version never came out! You made the game harder unnecessarily, 1.2 easier
