Finally beat this...the Ranger Tactic works most of the time. The Demons with their fast Spearmen made it a challenge, but they were defeated with a barrage of randomly placed scouts. Seriously I beat the last zone with scouts only.

wtf is the damage the guys do random with upper limits only? cause i had 1 guy kill a mounted guy in 1 hit, then 4 got mauled (the 1 guy who killed he mounted was at like 20% life

I've beaten the game with this strategy:
Set AutoSend on
Leave the arrow in any line, sending spearman if dificulty < 50% and swordman if dificulty > 50%
The game gets very boring when we learn this strategy =P

I like the ranger how in large groups he can take out anything before it gets to them. For example, I had 5 of them take out 2 trolls only losing one of them. :D

Do human and spam kings guards, swordsman, & long swordsman. Upgrade Swordsmanship (first priority) Armor (second priority) & Speed (last priority) Whenever they spam mages, spam archers to counter em. Sending melees against mages only gets you killed.

giant trolls+charge= impossible to stop.
Giant trolls are impossible to kill unless you have those weird flip people and you need like 3 of those to kill 1 troll. nyway endless line of swordsman is funny.

just get undead halberdiers and upgrade halberd, speed and armor and send them out in 1 line. i beat it all using only halberds

here is away to beat the game other than the endless line of swordmen (>_>) anyway choose humans then keep fighting to get the kings guards then evry chanceu have,upgrade swords then keep fighting(note good to combine with endless line of u know wat.)

humans rule... have very good special units.
there are 3 other really good special units--the giant trolls, the whirlers, and the spearmasters.
to beat the giant troll--- you can't. avoid them. spam fast stuff along where they aren't.
The whirlers---spam them with swordsmen if your'e a human. you'll be surprised how effective it is. spearmaster-- counter with a kings gaurd. beats spearmaster 90% of the time

One thing that would prove helpful is to adjust the level of income based on how many territories you possess. Otherwise, solid gameplay for a flash/shock environment.

archers dont scale up very well in this game... they start out good then by end game they basically do the same damage -but- everything not only has more hit points but also closes in to melee range with them faster. even your own archers run headlong across the field to their own deaths faster if you upgrade your units speed. sort of silly and kills you if you wanted to focus on ranged combat. also makes the undead halberdier rush stupidly good because ranged is supposed to be the counter to it.

To anyone who thinks demons are hard:
Demons are too easy! The demons look like red humans actually, and that is what they are! They only thing good about them is their spearmen. If you are undead then just charge with flairers and send in 2 lines of hailberdlers. Easy win! The demons are supposed to be hard which is why they are unlocked if you beat them. Also if you go afk then when a charge comes you can't do anyhting.
I also think that graphics should be improved, more races, bigger map with people not in big clusters, the computer can attack you, etc... Oh and the Demons could be made.... I dunno, more like Demons instead of red humans! Seriously! Where are the big monsters?

go undead, buy halberder, upgrade halberd/armor, autosend to OK...
start lvl and go afk. do 25 times and get your badge... great strategy game...
