DJStatika, have you considered adding casting magic spells to the game? I think it would work really nicely given the structure you've built here. Like...each spell comes with a casting time just like the build time for a unit. Would allow for another stat to be upgraded as well and probably give the game more replay value.

This game is great. It's simple, yet fun and challenging. I have now beat it with every race, and every time I used a new race I thought, "wow, they are the most powerful". I would like to see the races individualized even further next version, but I am very pleased with this game. I basically just did NOTHING else at work for the last two weeks.

dire, you dont have to reduce your brain activity, if you are completing battles quickly and easily then the game is harder and therefore more of a challenge for someone with your intellect

i mean, i get more money losing a battle than winning it, you can at least agree thats not that bright.
im thinking that a decent money system would make this game nice. just off of my head, calculate how many units can an enemy produce on average over time and multiply that with the seconds remaning and add that to an imaginary kill count. i dont really like playing games that i have to reduce my brain activity to be competitive at

so all you are saying to me and to anyone who is able to win certain stages on the first or second charge is what? reduce your brain activity to procataclismic mammal and grind your way to "time's up"?

If you got more money for winning quickly, then the people that find the game easy would find it easier and the people that find it hard would find it harder. At the moment, you get money for kills, not time. This is also to encourage people to fight rather than always sneaking round the side.
The money system is designed so everyone can theoretically complete it if they play for long enough.
From some of these comments you would think I had commited a crime against humanity

its soooo easyyyyyy, sometimes its bored and ned units usefull, the cavalry are usseless, the blue kings knigths are unstoppable, the whirler of elfs are unstoppable, its not balanced, only train armor and swordsman and you defeat all only spam swordsman continously with humans and you win or train armor and speras and spam spearmans continously with the demons and you defeat all races.... 4/5 and is generous.

I just noticed as you beat enemy territories, the background picture advances (e.g. 1st battle picture, 2nd battle further right in picture, etc). This is a neat, subtle design feature.
An idea for depth could be to give each nation/race a capital, where their defenses would be much stronger. This adds a major goal in the psyche, and gives more of a feeling of accomplishment as one advances. Perhaps that could satisfy those who feel something is missing.

so if you win the stage in 1/4 of the time you get 250g and if you wait like a retard waiting for the clock to run out of time you get 1k. SUBTLE MESSAGE: be mediocre. Seriously, how on earth can a game developer do that to his game? 0/5

This game's designed well. You gain money for kills, so you earn less money for "speed kills." Both players follow the same rule for charges. Earn one for every 20 kills. Computer only earns more charges if you're letting it kill more units than you. All is fair and balanced in the world.
Possible badges I see are:
Medium - Conquer whole world
Hard - Conquer world without using any charges the entire game! There's a challenge! 5/5

this game is very easy if you just get the men of the west and spam swordsman it will be ver very hard if you do not kill the demons first though

Aww I won, i thought there was more, I seen a land there on the bottom left that looked like a secret or something, you should expand the land, make it longer

Great game. i -couldn't decide what rating to give this game. I finally decided with a 4 instead of a 5. It reminds me of a game called Rome Total War. I love medevil era, so this game suits my fancy. There seems to be something missing, but I don't know what. I wish this game had badges, but that's not my decision. As 34spartan said, there needs to be a pause feature. Other than that great game. Hope you make a sequel.

this game is great; exactly what i was looking for, i don't know why people would rate it down...
just because you set it to auto send doesn't make this game bad, or having the feature of it, maybe you should actually play the game.

sorry putting my rating down.
just finished the game twice while afk-ish. just start a level, set auto release on, and win. Only upgrade the fastest unit, and done. No strategy needed at all.
Not hoping this game gets a badge because its too simple. A shame though, cause it has much potential.

Great game. The AI is quite good most of the time countering attacks and choosing correct units in the correct spots. Nicely done. I'd like to add my voice to those requesting a pause button--very necessary.

yea, getting money is based on how many units you kill, not how fast you beat the level, or even if you beat it at all. you can lose and still make more money than if you win.
