oh yeah, not to mention the occassional zerg rush of every line by the computer, do we even get that skill? One time it was an entire line of mounted units...i can't make men fast enough for that.

meh, was fun at first, but another game that doesn't let your ability to raise damage and armor even come close to the computers, I fought 5 straight battles with no problem then every battle after that my men were being 1-2 shotted while horse units that would kill 3 or 4 enemies and keep going just went down after 2. 2/5

2/5 now thats it im tired of halbeirders they freakin push ur units away from them, and secondly ur own units never stop walking it gives a disadvantage

lol i beat troll! an army of demon spearmen with +5 on armor and spears! i swear 5 spearmen took 1 troll! it was nuts!

the real trick to the game is to let every single game time out. just take off the auto-create thing and you make gads of money.

With much better balance this game would be epic. At the moment the balancing is terrible and it's still pretty amazing.
For instance mages kill several spears and or swords a peace and at least one elite non horse unit.
Second spammed swordsmen win
Third the money system needs reworking.
Fourth archers
Fifth I'd say longswordsmen tak eslightly too long to make and halberdiers are pretty rubbish. You say: USe numbers: Well at their work speed you can't build up numbers.

dude, ive killed a log of trolls, just keep sending archers to it to attack it from a distance, then send ur strongest unit 2 attack it(dont ignore other enemies tho )

This game would be amazing to have more added to it... by the way, after the changes. Archers now suck horribly.
Perhaps make them able to fire while standing still and just be slightly more innacurate??? that would also make the marksmanship upgrade worth it since with or without it they used to win... and now with even high marksmanship upgrades they lose...

For the thing about getting gold based on kills, I think that's a good idea, but I don't think gold gain should count as your score. You should have a separate points system. Set it so you get time bonuses, and also lose points when you lose a level. That way if you lose too much your score will be dirt low, and those who can beat the game quickly without losing will have really high scores.

I was a little disappointed with how easy it was to finally defeat the demons.
Also, how fast you beat the opponents should factor into how much money you receive. Because I was able to beat a group quickly and efficiently I'm actually punished because I receive less money than if I had a long drawn out slow battle.

It's a good game, but the difficulty needs to be toned down A LOT. On the last level... with 100% difficulty on humans it is IMPOSSIBLE to win. They cover the whole field and one King's Guard can kill a whole LINE of my upgraded swordsmen. You need to tone down damage in endgame a lot.

An overrated game right now - too raw UI, quite poor AI, scoring system, variety and game story also need some attention.
