The fact that you get money by the numbers you kill is stupid.
Little trick here: if you are about to win, simply retreat, and keep all the money you won so far.

You need to show which upgrades affect which units and by how much. A whirler, for example, is it a halebardier or an axer?
And I would put negative upgrades as well. like armor decreases speed.

This seemed quite good at the beginning, but it gets too repetative after a while.
And as someone already mentioned, money should be awarded by victory above all. The way it is, the better I am, the less money I get... now that is stupid.
Oh, and it needs badges of course ;)

Extremely counter intuitive the way that killing people gives you more money than fast victories, it rewards poor play.
Also since the new version I've yet to see an archer kill somebody, I watched my basic spearman run up to 5 archers and kill them one after another.

Latest upgrade is bad.
No longer are the archers usefull, they now just run in to be slaughtered by the close-range units.
Also, the difficulty is just too weird. How come I get pwnt by a 3% difficulty? I preferred the easy/medium/hard/v.hard difficulty rating. That actually made sense.
The only good thing it has going for it (and I am not sure if this was around before) is the fact that if you surrender, you still can get money from the round.
Rating lowered to 4/5 - would be 3/5 apart from the extra money.

"Difficulty 105%"? rofl
This game gets a bit boring around Difficulty 60%. At that point you're pretty much forced to lose your battles until you earn enough money for a major upgrade. Then you can beat one or two new levels and repeat the process. Takes way too long.

Could the next version also include a way to access the spending money menu from the map?
Also, I could do with an auto-charge option, and more money for victories (giving money for killing units rewards failure more than victory, since you want the battle to take longer so you can kill more guys).

heres the disadvantage of the londswords man, they get pushed back before they attack thus giving spearmen their weakness

Cool little game but needs some better AI - you can win some of the "hard" games by sending scouts in a single file for the entire game. Nothing but scouts. Also would be nice to know how much points each kill or unit across is worth.

Make a version 1.3 with the following:
.Pause button
.A sell unit button
.And if you can making something like a giant troll for other races,because only mountain trolls have something that hits 500

i played against the wood elves against humans for my first level. i killed about 30 of their men, only swordsman. they killed 1.

Although there have been some improvements, I still see problems:
* while your race has slots locked, so should the enemy, I don't like finding my army with same enemy as before but now with whole different slot use!!!!
* percentages go up after you win a map??
* some maps are harder because your race has 'wrong' slots (should keep that in mind with %!)
* the Giant Troll is waaaaay too expensive, while the other races (AI) just keep sending in their tough troops, while your troops dont have upgrades because GT is so costly!
It's an okay game, but personally feel you're better with sci-fi, make SDG v3!! :D

I prefer spamming upgraded Swordsman, alternating with a Spearman or Scout occasionally. Allows me to win a little faster if I have a few faster recharge, faster speed units mixed in.
The AI needs to alternate strategies better. Have it spam faster units if the person playing is doing that as well. Then again with this game patience is the winning factor a lot of the time.
In addition to the Charge feature, maybe have a Earthquake which lightlly damages all enemy units and scatters them on the map. That way the AI could break spamming occasionally making it a little harder.
