Fastest way to badge: * Choose Undead * Spend first 500 on Halbedier * Choose easiest battle first (percentage over arraow) * Choose options->auto-build * Simply Mass Halbediers in one line. Upgrades: Flailer for charges (Q), Speed, Armor

Great game! Brilliant choice for the card. I use undead and M Halberdier charges. And when they only focus on two or three lines, then I spam spearmen, put in a swordie/halberdier or two.

The upgrades do not seem to function. They should increase the base stats as shown when one hovers over the unit pictures.
Other than that minor problem, a standout flash game. 5/5 A*. Give the designer a cookie.

-------------lol---DEFINITIVE STRATEGY GUIDE:
pick a race w/ a retardedly powerful unique unit (nelves/undead for example)
play only easy (>3%) maps until you can buy your unique unit. this stage its easy enough to just throw a bunch of spearmen and you'll win
with your powerful units, defend 3-4 lines in a cascading fashion - if an enemy line is too powerful, ignore it. it DOES NOT MATTER.
get the charge, use it with the unique. up to this point you should basically only have used your uniques, with spearmen support in a pinch. now pick the line with the most power in it, set the arrow to spearmen, ????, and you'll have won.
its pretty easy to understand, and i dont really know why i chose to write this

You didn't balance the archers, before they were uber powerful, now they're obsolete as their arrows hit one in ten, that's rangers with the best markmanship money can buy!

Trolls are a pain unless you're playing them. Trying to kill a giant troll is like trying to stop a freight train with a feather.

Pick a race with good bonusses for one weapon. Men of the West (+2 sword) of undead (+3 halberd) are nice! Only use that unit, only upgrade speed, weapon and armour. Never buy new units (unless you're good with halberds, then buy halberdiers. That can be done with starting money)... And that's it.

Great! But needs balancing, though. Demons have no special unit?! Where are the horns and wings and red skin?
And I agree with most people here, it is really easy to win the game once you upgrade the armor and spears and spam spearmen, even at 105% difficulty ( :) )

i agree with whykatt, also the game is pretty easy too. i hope there is a game in this genre similar to castle wars in warcraftIII

It was kind of fun at first, as you get closer to getting the badge it becomes more and more tedious. I thought playing as demons might have been fun but I can't stand any more.

well, the only thing is that the charge have no timer... we should be able to know when this will happen, a power up bar, maybe.

Great game, could use more specific upgrades. For example most of the "special units" don't have weapon upgrades ( Or at least it doesn't directly relate to their weapon). Also would be nice if as you up the stats of your units it reflected in the unit stats in the shop or had a preview mode so u could see how it affected each. Also would be nice if you could view their unit stats in battle itself, hitpoint displays are nice.

Aww what? They added badges and a challenge after I completed the game, so now I have to do it all again to activate them? That sucks balls through a hosepipe.

The art in this game reminded me strongly of Feudalism, but the strategic choices inherent in the battle system as well as the balanced rock-paper-scissors of the units made for a much more enjoyable play. I did find it odd how I'd receive more upgrade points for a oss than a game where I stomped all over the opponent. Perhaps a time-based victory bonus?
