Also, it seems that the clicking mechanism is a little unresponsive. It might just be because I'm using a touchpad, but there seems to be some interference when I try to summon units, particularly when I've just summoned some to the same row, as well as when there are a lot of units in the way of the cursor.

How about a method to rearrange you units on top bar without having to sell them? I'd like to move my laddermen off of the first position (it screws me up when I go between field battles vs sieges)

i like the new battle gameplay sending out grouped units as apposed to an individual on a set line. I'm really fond of the new Q system, nothing quite as satisfying as looking at your spearmen on 18 and hitting Q

Missing something unique a changing element of surprise that adds creativity and makes someone want to stay besides that 4.5 stars!

Being nice when I give this a 3/5. It seems to work properly, and has some decent mechanics, but what an uninspired and dull game.

Kind of annoying how every time I use a 120 man charge, the enemy has a charge of catapults and an earthquake ready to completely demolish my 120 men completely.

As XartaX pointed out the races seem to be play more or less the same, and apart from that the units are so small that every race looks exactly the same. For me that leaves no chance of any fantasy feel to the game.

The problem with this genre is that it's been done to death. Without adding anything new and interesting to the core mechanics it gets dull after 10 minutes or so. In addition this game doesn't really make an effort to have the different races be distinct from each other, so you can't really justify playing through it more than once (if you manage to get through it that many times in the first place due to boredom). Summarized, it's dull and not innovative in any way. But it does execute what it tries to do fairly well. 2/5.

when you realise... just take all cities first and you cant lose after that, simply attack regions that cant hit back, or if stuck and cant take top island (i got it and every other territory first go, not hard.) just leave it there and leave 1 troop where they can land then take lands to get money, upgrade army, then attack them back, plus since the ai takes about 3-5 turns to attack once killed once, you can just take that territory back, take 2 more and repeat.

I've played it through and what it really needs is diversity between the races. Maybe give elves a range/speed focused army, give demons weak hordes, orcs a range of units from small grunts to large warriors. It'd be so much better if each race had its own set of units and play style.

hi, thanks for this game is very fun. but need more units, a new system of spells for the mage... 5 stars, but new version is needed.

If you could put your troops into formation it would be nice, instead of randomly charging. Also, could we decide how many troops we send, instead of sending the whole batch.

A squad arrangement would be welcome, so I could assign my troops to the button i wish, it's so much of an annoyment if you buy them in a silly order

Nice game but still easy on normal.Sieges are really too easy i never fail one of them even hard :P. Good game and the defence bug still continues ! We dont have a chance too lose land.

This game is such a ridiculous improvement on the previous game. I mean, it's just so, so much better. That said I'd have preferred if we were limited to 8 units instead of 10 as I find 10 is just a little bit cumbersome while 8 I can happily do.

A strategy I use when attacking castles is focus on one line but send scouts down bottom lane along with archers and a ladder man then as they focus on the area with the ladder man do the same thing with other lanes but don't uses a lot of troops otherwise you'll be noticed

I love all the Warlords games but I can't even describe the depths of my joy the first time I unleashed a 10-spearman charge.

Why do people keep saying "this game needs to be more like (game name) or more like (game name). this game is what it is. It could use some things to make it more enjoyable but it is its own game, no features from any other game are needed to make this game what it is. The Developer(s) made the game how they meant to make it. 5/5 should be the rating for it as well as great comments! 5/5 from me! Excellent game!

@seismic: in late game each race has a unit of their own, like the giant troll, the undead flailer or the marcolite musketeer, they're also each faction's strongest available unit.
@slayzer: never played high elves, but their special seems decently stong, and their unique unit is pretty badass too (the whirler is the guy from warlords heroes)

Loved it but I agree it needs some sort of economy or pre battle action. Either something gemfire like or an action and town sequence like elona shooter. Except for wishing their was something to break up the fights I loved everything else.

The ability to upgrade individual units, causing them to look much different at lvl 5 or 10 would make things much cooler. Also making faction-specific stuff like units. If you ever make a sequel, it needs individuality other than a power.

What is the point of squad size? it dosn't increase for catapults or mages. It just makes it longer to stock up for that charge.
