the warlords games are great, so glad they switched back to an "overall" upgrade system instead of a "per-unit" system. i also really like the new lane system. the only problem about this game is that they are so long, i played this game for two and a half hours to beat the campaign once, and i was only defending four times. i dont know how people have time to beat the game seven times to unlock all the features

This game is amazing! Playing Men of the West and charge with a full squad of javelin trowers when squads size and preparation time are maxed is so powerfull!

while the game is great as always i prefer the batter closer. in this game the battles are a bit too zoned out. you can barely make out the detail of the person on the battlefield

Honestly f*** this game. If you play on hard mode it is pretty much impossible to win even if your army is fully upgraded.

My favorite races are night/high elf and men of the west through out the series...They have proven to be the least xenophobic and corrupt...marcolite is a good people, those under their rule live a good life it seem but they just appear in this so...i like them but not my favorite.

Is it just me or are the Titan units really underwhelming? Because my Giant Demon gets easily taken out by a couple of Javelin Throwers, Musketeers, and Rangers, which are an elite unit as well. This is my opinion but you really need to buff up the Titan units' HP because it's really lacking.

why is that when I beat the entire game with the orcs of the north, it now says that I never beat the game with a race, what is going on, is this a glitch?

Some things from previous versions that I'd have liked to have been carried forward to this are individual unit upgrades, 2 special units per army and cavalry, in that order. Otherwise, great improvements to the game!

I know you added a fast forward button and all, but it would be better if it worked AFTER sending another wave of units as well. Also, I wish there were more specialized upgrades, that focused on specific units instead of the entire army (and were also therefor cheaper). Perhaps, although this is subjective, you could add more options for spells that had more utility (maybe even counter spells). Other than these 3 things (and the things other people have said), this game seems pretty solid. 4/5

When I looked that the units that were available at the shop I immediatle went: "Is that all???" In the last Warlords there were so many cool and unique units for each race. Here they seem to be missing. What I was really hopin for is even more specialisation and synergy between unique units and upgrade paths...

i think this game is the least action-packed in the 4 games so far. call to arms and rise of demons was good but this one feels more... slow...

Also, in case you're wondering whether to skip over the scout or not, don't. Not only does this keep you from losing in hard if you can sneak a charge of them to push the meter right, but:
Scouts kill siege engines quickly, and they kill groups of archers quickly. Also, its fun to see a swarm of little guys knife a halberdier to death

best tactic for quick play: let the first of the enemy behind your line, while dont touch your spearmen because they should grow to maximum. immediately after reaching the max, you can realease the multi bonus perfectly in time and overrun the enemy. this run takes about 1:30.
