just lost my progress wow I am currently marcolites on hard diffuculty but when I continue on there's nothing and my demon playthrough which is already ended earlier is reset. I don't have the energy to play anymore.

The zoomed out camera makes it difficult to distinguish the units. The only reason I even know I'm the mountain trolls is that a piece of text tells me. The armies feel even less unique than in previous games.

a very fun and addicting game, but, the marcolites need to be nerfed. i progressed to the point that even though they couldnt invade me, i could never win against them when i invaded.

Good advice Noxxerino. And Julka, I would add not using a certain unit that you set aside for charging. Also prioritize group size. You should be doing just fine doing most the battle, but it doesn't matter so much, because you win when you charge.

Julka, I'd recommend sending in units once they've built up to 2 or more unless you're countering something that's about to cross your side that's easily dealt with. Sending in swordsmen with archers right behind them is always a good pairing, especially if you can line up the charges to happen at the same time and at the same amount. Sometimes you just have to let heavy armor cross your side for the sake of winning the battle if you don't have anything to counter it with. Wasting units on heavy armor just weakens your other flanks.

I sem to be able to only "countersummon" at the eginning of the battle. Later on, there is just too much stuff going on so quite often I just choose a lane and spam every unit to that lane (except for the ones, saved for charging) and just focus on getting charge right.

For some reason this game is not as good as its prequels. I notice that the battlefield looks more epic with more units, but it seems the details of the individual units are lost. Second, the battle is quite repeatitive and grindy after a while since you increase the no of battles of each individual campaign. Third, several units are locked at the begining for balancing reason I guess, but it just seems arbitrary to me and cause earlier battles to drag on even more. I am not sure how I would rate this game yet, but probably this will not be a 5/5 compared to the two previous installments.

I dont understnd the jumbled mode>>>> i was thinking that b cox its jumbled, maybe the kings guard os the human alliance be at the demons and the demon in the demons be at the human allinace perhaps<>>>> that would be great i think ans so on ans so forth heheh just a suggestion....

It's pretty annoying how there's only one meta for winning. Evenly distribute points in army damage, armour, size and prep time. Everything else is optional. Can't specialise in any one or two stats or you'll inevitably face an AI with an upper hand because you have too few or too weak troops. This also means that racial specialty (undead supposedly focusing on numbers, trolls focusing on armour) are completely moot.

The first time i played this, i LOVED IT! 3 years later and its still in my top 10. There are some problems but they are small and few. Its one of my favorite and i what more like it. To bad it only 3.8 stars game.

I hope there is a sequel to this series, man, this game is awesome. I kinda wish that there were more unique units (can only be played with a certain race) and more abilities. Also, the Undead need to have Zombies and Vampires as well. Skeletons aren't the only Undead that I, as a gamer, know. :D

OH MY GODS!!! I finally recognized the music (at least for the orcs of the North). I heard it in Monster's Den: Book of Dread. I remember it best as being mixed with the soundbyte that is produced when one of my heroes successfully strike an enemy and kill them.

Strategy: 1. don't deploy a unit (i don't deploy spearmen bc they have lots of squad size) 2. get a charge and release it. i won an entire campaign (except for the fort battles) by sending 100-170 spearmen at the enemy and they won every time.

Love Men of the West faction because of their Javelin guy. The only thing that can match Musketeer and taking down siege weapon quickly. They are also a good counter charge against most enemies.

regarding previous comment maybe as a penalty you can do something like "every time you make an alliance another army makes an alliance with an opponent" but they have to be alliances that makes sense (aka both kinds of elves instead of men of the west and demons)

great game. only suggestion i have for future games is as some said alliances. i wanna be the human kingdom and not have to kill men of the west

Do you think you'll ever make a larger map of Beneril? (Considering there is a West, east, South, and apparently North that are relevant.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It was a good idea getting rid of a lot of that stuff from 2. Better graphics on the map made it seem less like the Beneril I know from Warlords Heroes. I would like individual unit upgrades, but done differently than number 2.

Wish it had more things....like the rise of demons
Swordsman could defend theirselves agaisn't archers
There were horses
Spearman could charge
There were special units:
Such as the giants in Mountain Trolls and Demons races
