Under rating threshold (show) This game is such a ridiculous improvement on the previous game. I mean, it's just so, so much better. That said I'd have preferred if we were limited to 8 units instead of 10 as I find 10 is just a little bit cumbersome while 8 I can happily do.

Under rating threshold (show) A strategy I use when attacking castles is focus on one line but send scouts down bottom lane along with archers and a ladder man then as they focus on the area with the ladder man do the same thing with other lanes but don't uses a lot of troops otherwise you'll be noticed

Under rating threshold (show) Why do people keep saying "this game needs to be more like (game name) or more like (game name). this game is what it is. It could use some things to make it more enjoyable but it is its own game, no features from any other game are needed to make this game what it is. The Developer(s) made the game how they meant to make it. 5/5 should be the rating for it as well as great comments! 5/5 from me! Excellent game!

Under rating threshold (show) @seismic: in late game each race has a unit of their own, like the giant troll, the undead flailer or the marcolite musketeer, they're also each faction's strongest available unit. @slayzer: never played high elves, but their special seems decently stong, and their unique unit is pretty badass too (the whirler is the guy from warlords heroes)

Under rating threshold (show) The ability to upgrade individual units, causing them to look much different at lvl 5 or 10 would make things much cooler. Also making faction-specific stuff like units. If you ever make a sequel, it needs individuality other than a power.

Under rating threshold (show) What is the point of squad size? it dosn't increase for catapults or mages. It just makes it longer to stock up for that charge.

Under rating threshold (show) My chance of defending my territories is listed as 94%, yet they seem to be conquered about 1/2 or even 2/3 of the time. Are you sure the defense upgrades are working properly? Also I second the need for a charge bar. It is vital in a tactical game to know if I should unleash my maxed out group of troops now, or save them for when I get charge. I can't make that decision at the moment because I have no idea how much longer I'll have to wait until being able to charge. BTW, great game, love that enemies actually fight back now.

Under rating threshold (show) 5/5 game in my book, I'm surprised this isn't rated higher to be honest. The only reason I can think that maybe it's not would be A) long battles (could make a setting option to keep the speed up button locked instead of turning off when you make an action), B) lack of storyline/plot, C) could use more out of battle interaction, which could be addressed through some sort of economic system similar to classic console games such as Gemfire or Romance of the Three Kingdoms, or D) overpowered special moves that drag out battles.

Under rating threshold (show) Honestly I think laddermen should be a later unlock after 2 or 3 battles. The siege battles work great but I wiped out the demons in my 2nd turn before their defenses really got going and it seems almost unfair because they can be so powerful and fun to fight in the late game.

you get tax money after each battle. If I gave it every move then you could just move back and forth to build up money

Under rating threshold (show) In the first Warlords, it was easier to watch the units fighting. In this one, the screen is too small, and it's hard to see wich type of enemy is coming (and even your own troops). Great game, but I miss to watch the action properly. Thanks!

If you lose your forts, as long as your army survives, you can conquer another territory with a fort, its the same for the computer armies. But if you lose a battle with your army and you have no forts, then its game over. - I wonder if anyone has actually done this!

Under rating threshold (show) Not so george. The sheer numbers in a spearman charge allows you to win in just that first charge, and the computer is almost hopeless against it.

Under rating threshold (show) The game looks very epic but it just doesn't seem quite as fun and approachable as the previous ones. There's so many battle lanes, the upgrades are cool but it's hard to stay engaged in the game long enough to full explore them, the pacing is slow, and the battles are so long. It's beautiful and looks epic, but the heart of the game, the combat, just isn't quite as engaging as it was before.

Under rating threshold (show) Well...this game definitely needs the improvements mentioned under...yet the interface should be changed aswell, I liked the first game more. In this one the units are just way to small to distuingish something or "taste and feel"the battle. A higher resolution, or a zoom in, would help a lot.

Under rating threshold (show) The fast forward button is rather... meh. It should be either "on" or "off" - not that I'm forced to click it every single time I want to use it. It's like: send troops, push button, send troops, push button.
