Still has the same problem with overlapping enemies that Achilles had. If more than one enemy are taking up the same space, you can only hit one, meaning the other one will hit you no matter what.

I wonder what the devs were thinking when they designed this? "Okay guys, let's take Achilles, which was pretty mediocre, keep the awkwardly random gameplay, annoying auto-targeting, but make it so that you have to UNLOCK advanced attacks--and here's the catch, even once you buy them, they won't work!"
It was bad the first time around, and changing the name and the skin didn't make it any better. I wonder what Kon's motive was for giving this game a card challenge?

Small problem with "Gladiator Mode". By giving all the characters all the special moves, it makes it impossible to plan which move you are going to attack with. This makes Gladiator Mode even harder than it is.
If you do a forward move with the orc and its the dashing strike, and you didn't plan for that you're left open for attack since you'll go too far and pass your enemy. If you plan for the dashing strike, you'll come up short on the other attack. Bottom line, let the player pick their moves for Gladiator mode.

Too easy to exploit. For missions you can just run to the end of the map, die, and then use your invincibility at respawn to kill all the enemies at once.
For gladiator all it is is spam kick and attack. Enemy does the same thing as well so the winner is whoever kicks faster.

Hey look, it's just like Achilles, but with all the bugs fixed...
Wait, wait, no, all the bugs are still there.
- Enemies can attack you after they've had their heads cut off
- Enemies are not stunned and keep attacking after they get kicked
- Damage is completely random and arbitrary, and an enemy can reduce you to 1/4 life with one hit while each of your hits barely knocks him down by 1/10
- Enemies (particularly spearmen) can just keep spamming the same attack. And since they're faster than you and have more range than you, it's practically impossible to get an opening.
- Which move you do is completely random. Forward+attack will sometimes do the short range powerhouse move that I want, and other times will do a long range move on a nonexistent enemy and just leave me open for attack.
I don't know why you would make another Achilles without changing anything at all. This game fills me with rage.

Survival of the Toughest
Dude! You just completed the Survival of the Toughest achievement in Warlords: Heroes and won the Survival of the Toughest badge and 15 points!

great game but after a few minutes my fingers got numb the last one was better but this is more realistic i like this one but LOVE the other one 4 and a half stars :).

Didn't we have this game up for a card a month ago? Oh wait, that one was called "Achilles".
In any event, this game is mediocre at best and definitely doesn't deserve the spotlight of a card challenge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sigh. Starts out okay, but then you run into endless waves of enemies who can stunlock you indefinitely and are uninterruptable, and the game becomes utterly pointless and skill-free.

fun but kind of hard. it got boring after like 30 minutes. yes i did notice it is like Achellies and Warlords. i will believe you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you people fail at life. use your brains if you think its too hard. First of all theres a block button for a reason. USE IT. Second of all, you can usually decapitate them after stunning them with foot stamp. You people need brains. =_=

done very well, but gameplay is still sketchy, gets fairly repetetive and starts off pretty boring anyways. 2/5 for me, good effort but didnt turn out that great

By "based on the Achilles engine", what that means is that it is glitch-for-glitch compatible. Got the card, but the badges aren't worth spending time for.

Better than Achilles, but it still isn't my favourite game. The pausing actually pauses now though I think, so that's definately a plus.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
People are still stupid, rating this even over 3/5 when it should be -14/5. It has the same problems achilles had, minus the pause thing that is. Still sucks, why is it that kong keeps giving badges to djstatika's game when they all suck so freaking hard???

I really like this game, but the save feature is not very consistant. I have had to complete the night elf level several times and it still thinks I haven't...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm... I wonder why the hard badge isn't didn't award itself to me once i beat the campaign... Eh, dont see anyone else complaining about the badge, so hopefully it was just my server. (then again, ive beat it twice, and still no badge)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why do people always want to make such hard games. achilles is already hard enough, but atleast you can kill in one hit with spears. In this, you can upgrade but the moves are all very similiar and random. also why would there be calvery, there soo hard, I can't even beat the first ep. I wonder would there be golems???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It is not a bad game at all, I liked how you combined your two games. People whine for no reason. Good job I would like to see an empire building version using the races and the world, more emphasis on economy, politics, and development. Not just click click send units.

i love this game way better than achillies i love the way the story lines interweave i like the different attacks very good game 5/5 on favs
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Total Pants!!! still just as glitchy, its a revamped achilles, only played it for the card. I never want to play this game again , its that bad i arent even bothering to rate it it doesnt even deserve a pity star!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, geniuses...it's not a rip off since Achilles was his game too. All in all, yes, the games are -very- similar, but this one is -much- better for so many reasons. Still not a fantastic game though. 4/5

it WAS a 5/5 star but after first boss the meidiem level are imposible because the F**KING HALIBARDERS on horses are IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL AND THEY CEEP COMING!!!!!!!

I gave it a nice rating all i can say is there can should be a function to turn of sound cause some of us play music or is listen to something and this shit just doesnt just up
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really bad. Moves only work half the time, and jump hits rarely connect, and if they do, you hardly do any damage. Good concept, bad implementation. 2/5
