I guess Mistermind said everything.. this game would actually be a great game if it wasn't for the random attacks..
its frustrating and kinda ridiculous to be in a fight where you press that key hoping for that special move that will kick some ass and then your char does something completely different that most likely makes you lose.. -_-

Well my biggest complain with this game is the "randomness" of your attacks. That takes all the strategy away from the game. There is absolutely no way to beat the gladiator challenge simply because there is no way to actually get GOOD in this game. At most times you just have to hope that at some point you will land the correct blow from the character you're playing. Not to mention the amount of cheaters in this game and the high scores, which are probably the only people who were able to get the Lord of War badge.

5 Horsemen at once? Bleeeeeeeeeep Maybe its a little too hard at some points. As a side note, the undead and demons should still become playable.

and it doesnt save the normal mode for me, i findihed the elf and the orc. but i came back, and it said i didnt do them. :(

it's cheap. The enemy comes from both sides here and there throughout a level, but right when you're about to beat every level, your henchmen get stuck behind and you have to help them - either you try to get to the end, or go backwards and do it all over again. There should be an enemy limit per level... when it happens on the so-called "easy" levels, it's total BS.

Careful how you travel the map. I just boxed myself in and can't attack another land.

I found a flaw to the game.... If you go through and buy the knee buster move and kick 5 people in the knee and stun them you can walk all the way to the end. Then come back and kill those 5.... very easy but thats almost no fun.

the knee attack is really stupid i got it at the second level and havent used it once beside that its a pretty good game

i like the achillies style playing but its poorly executed

Danknugz: That's great for the regular game mode. Unfortunately, in gladiator mode, when you really need to be able to strategize, you DON'T get to pick the moves you want, it's just random.
Another reason this game is horribly flawed.

Just when I thought Achilles was the worst game to ever get a card, you pull this BS. This game is a game of chance that aparantly enjoys watching you get angry. Please just stick to playing games, making them apears to be a bit out of your reach.

Seriously, anyway who rates this over 2/5 is looking. There are so many problems with this game. Saving mainly. Not to mention I beat episodes 1-3 and it says I can't do four. Then I left and it said I had 1 and 3 beat but not 2. How is that even possible? Fix ALL the bugs and maybe I'll give a four.

all of the tedium of achilles combined with all of the tedium of warlord, combined with the monotony of grinding for cash! 2/5 i'm still getting killed by dead guys too, why base a game on a game that's so buggy without fixing those bugs first? it's like you're a subsidiary of microsoft or something...

Terrible bug: I bought the back-flip evasion move for the elf guy.
Problem is, it's the only move he does when facing right, now. My game is basically ruined, because it's impossible to make reasonable progress like this!

k so, i did not like achilles but this game is much better. Why? because you now can have multiple attacks not just 2 upgradable armor and henchmen. I still dont like the fact that if you dont press an arrow key before you jump you wont move so i give it a 4/5

My orc was quickly kicking again and again. One foot after the other. MORTAL COMBAT STYLE!!! Nice improvement on achilles in warlords.

While I really enjoy playing Call to Arms, I didn't enjoy this at all...exactly like how I didn't enjoy Achilles. Was hopeful when I saw the game's name, yet utterly disappointed as soon as I read the description. I'd much rather have found a new version of Warlords, not Achilles with a different paint job. Yawn.

This is still a standout game among the "flash" genre. I liked Achilles and I like this one too. I like this one just a little more. And, of course it gets another card; It has an excellent rating.
