This game's failing point is the same as Achilles. There's no way to control what kind of attack you get. In quite a few situations, certain forward + attack abilities are great, while other ones are horrible, and it's all reliant on luck. I hate relying on luck in games, let slot machine simulators target that demographic. On top of that, once three or so guys get on the screen, you're almost forced to eat a death just to clear them out. I'm glad that lives are cheap in this game, but it's frustrating to die no matter what the cost. With the varying levels of cheapness enemies can have, I'd prefer a more reliable attack system.
I'd also suggest making long range attacks (from spearmen-types mostly) either slower or weaker. They can tear other units apart too easily.

I don't like how enemies spawn while you're dead. It's like, I couldn't handle the guys already here, don't make it HARDER for me.

I didn't find triple kick that useful Archaic. The only must have move I remember was that one forward moving high slash for the Prince. He needed that one to get some range an decapitations. Other than that one though I would say its better to just buy armor, lives, an henchmen. The moves are random anyway so buying more just means you probably end up doing moves you don't want to do.

its kindof stupid that you cant do any thing else than normal mode until you have finshed a chapter of the game other wise good game 9/10

WTF after I beat the chapter 2 I quit and when I came back the whole save file for it was gone, the save feature needs to be fixed.

I played this game for roughly two hours, overseeing the different modes and episodes. To be honest, i am not the type of person for this game, since it drives me insane, HOWEVER, it is beautifly done, music chosen with it is perfect. People complane however, but i see no reason to, this producer is the rightful owner of both games that this game greatly took its inspiration from. There is only one small glitch : multiple opponents can get u pretty much stunlocked. But its up to us to prevent that ;)
Grafix : 3,5/5 greatly detailed, enjoyable to watch
Sound : 4,5/5 my compliments to the producer of the songs
Gameplay : 3,5/5 monotone but very fun for people who find this their playing style
Replayability : 3,5/5 the episodes can serve as a free roam, it has its appeal to playing it a second time
A game worthy to kongregate, gratz DJStatika

Oh why couldn't Achilles have just died? Don't get me wrong, this is much better than Achilles was, but the original Warlords was a great game and to taint it with Achilles makes me sad.

This game isn't that bad I just finished all episodes. The mounted guys are easy just block an backstab them. My big complaint is the annoyance of left screen enemies drawing my henchmen back. That and there is no reason to buy the fighting moves. They are usually no better or worse than the normal attacks. To beat the final boss btw you need to jump attack an exploit the invincibility of a new life lol. Now I just want to know why I don't have my episode 4 complete badge...

I have started a new game, and I reach the 3rd chapter and now the game put me back to the 1st one! what is happening whit the savings? should I do the whole game at once???

I think they fixed the "trick" that I was using to pass lvls with ease. All I used to do was knee kick the guys (max 5) and walk to the end of the level (no more than 5 enemies spawn at a time). Once I reach the end it tells me I need to kill all the enemies, so I walk about 1 screen back and all of the crippled guys are just waiting to be killed. THE PROBLEM! Before the update, once you reach the end of the level, the guys stop spawning (even if you have more to kill. Now I have to fight my way though at least the last 10% of the lvl.

Really good, but if you are in a position where you need to move back and forth the game spawns the same unit too many times and you can't really progress. Happened to me a few times with mounted stuff. 4/5

lancer, did tou every read the game description? the maker said lots of times the HE made achilles and he KNOWS that its based on achilles. OMG

I like the idea, but the design of the game came out terrible. First of all, it's way too random. You never no which attack you'll use and there's no way to disable attacks you don't like. Second, there's no consistency with the damage so it's impossible to play with any type of strategy. 2/5

5/5 very good game, superb sound, many opponents, upgrading character, possible pausing :) and lots of fun guaranted.
Also I got the badge
Lord of War Dude! You just completed the Lord of War achievement in Warlords: Heroes and won the Lord of War badge and 60 points!

Balance issues
I got to the demon lands in the first episode, and i had to kill 5 melee demons at the same time
how the hell are you supposed to win that?

I'm not sure how he can "sort out" mounted units. I mean, they're already arguably the easiest units in the game; they're so predictable.

Attention morons! Did you read the description? The creator knows this is similar to all these games.... so quit wasting time pointing it out. 4/5

try getting the impossible badge without cheating and tell me the game is good. Wait until you can kill the first "elite" gladiator with ease and then by 13 its almost impossible. I did it once and got the unlucky red dot.

When you have an enemy coming from rear and both mage and swordsman, why is the low armot mage always charging towards the enemy, and close combat swordsman not? Poor henchman tactics.
