Light years ahead of "Achilles", but that's like saying burping in public is light years ahead of s***ting your pants in public. At best, it's still average.

Ok, it is now IMPOSSIBLE to beat a level.
Appearently this guy realized that it was possible to run through a level and then just round up the ones that followed you at the end, and so he changed it to constant respawn at the end of the level. But this means you can't kill them all!

Nice game.. Only thing that's really annoying is that you usually have to start all over again because it didn't save..
For all those of you having trouble with a map, try this:
Buy triple kick and dislocate knee.. If you meet an enemy triple kick (stun him) and continue kicking him until his knee is disclocated, then don't kill him and run towards the end, after you stunned 5 or 6 enemies no new ones will spawn, if you reached the end run back and kill them one by one. (yeah that's pretty much easy mode)

Very good job of combining one great game (warlords) and one moderate game (achilles). maybe have a feature to where the npc's can block or what not. All in all not bad. game part is too easy, extra's are super hard.

Autosave glitched. Saves some of the game but not the last several times. Might need to exit to main menu for it to 'stick'?

it's a cool game but is got the same problem of achilles...
after a while you'r playing you got bored
you should put more animations or improve the controls...
if you do that the game will be more interactive and less bored

1/5 Is absolutely the worst game I have ever played that was given a badge. Enemies scale in difficulty at random and exhorbitant rates, skills seem to be implemented at random while fighting enemies, enemies come too fast and too often, etc etc etc.

Updated my rating to 2/5. There are some glitchy things where arrows fire after archer killed, the flail carrying AI is painful, the henchmen rarely defend themselves, the game forgets I finished maps and I have to start over, the graphics are a little lame considering only part of it is animated.

I wanted one other warlords, not a worse version of Achilles. The controls are still really bad (I agree all that Locke427 says, all thats is correct). 1 vs 1 enemy is ok, more then 3 is to hard because you start hit one but end hitting another. Also that the graphic is made for old warlords, so it look terribly when you scale everything (I hope you can paint better then this -.-).

forgot to say the most annoying bit (also in Achilles): Once there are like 3+ enemies you are totally screwed. And sometimes they come in packs of 3+. Totally not going for the badges.

I don't know where to start. The poor graphics, the glitches, the retarded AI. In one game alone I lost two mages because they decided to run head first into a mounted spear man and got killed after a beheaded archer corpse shot me with an arrow.
Try harder.

Improved at some points (buying stuff) and fails at the same points (archers, uncontrollable attacks). Could have been so awesome :(
oh. And endless spawning enemies at the end of the level just sucks majorly.

awesome game...its much about defending/counterattacking and buying the right skills (never buy all attacks for a direction) nice story and ideas for the achilles concept 5/5

Yes, it's like Achilles, but with all of the extra content you can't fault the game at all for that; in terms of game-play, it is simply much more well done than either of its predecessors.
The fighting moves, by the way, are immensely helpful in that they enable you to move and attack at the same time. This is really key for when enemies are in bad range and you have to back up/move forward quickly.
Two major things that most people have probably said: not being able to choose which way you face is a huge inconvenience, and enemies to the left drawing your henchmen away is just a pain.

What also makes the game more difficult and bloody irritating than it already is is the way that, as others have pointed out, henchmen undermine all your efforts to get through the level by chasing after everything that runs by. Grr!

finally got the badge. Had to redo it. Now this crap game can go in the garbage where it belongs. 1/5 and only cause of lack of a lower or negative rating.

easy way to beat the final boss: choose the orc, protect your allies until you get to the boss, then get underneath him and press sword attack until he dies. only the orc deals enough damage that you can beat the final boss

It's like Achiless perfetcted except the graphics but the game isnt really my style so i gave it a 3 but great improvements over Achiless and btw get a mage henchman first and get another henchman to protect him mage pwns.
