oh by the way, who the **** is in charge of assigning badges and challenges? fire them, because this and Pandemic got FOUR frigging badges AND a card each, while a game that is actually different from the usual repetitive crud people make in flash (cough*Aether*) gets nothing.

Yawn if there were no saving allowed people would rate higher because then they wouldn't be mad that they lose save files anyway it means ur a noob this game is easy. Pfft besides how long culd it take takes some about an hour or more took me 1 and a half but episode 4 took me less than 5 minutes because it only one day and you just fight mimics of other guys as undead.

Excellent excpt for I cant find the pause 5/5 anyway cause there might be one. Gladiator mode is hard in the pleasent way giving challenge but I still got pwned by an orcish imitation of Ellder while I had Prince Aldon.

hey, how about you put in a save feature? sorry to break it to ya, but arcade games that require 20$ in quarters are five years dead.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would've given this a 5 if it weren't for the loss of my files -_- I was one episode away from 4 so I went to do it the next day, BAM all my others ones gone. 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
id give it a 3 if it werent for the fact that my saves are constantly deleted ... forcing me to redo all 3 chapters... and therefore not giving me acess to chapter 4 .. so no hard badge ... 1/5 for epic save fail

Double halberds are touchable, but they take almost 0 damage no matter how many headshots I give them after kicking them into stun(which only works 1/4 the time).

At which time the 1st episode is ending?
I killed the 2 bosses (archer and mage) but it still doesn't end?!
What shall I do now?
There is no target visible?!

Toldor would be so much better in Gladiator mode if he didn't have that stupid overhead stab. Gladiator mode wouldn't be a complete pain in the rear if those short sword guys would quit hiding behind their shields every 0.1 seconds. Otherwise, overall alright game.

for those of you with saving issues right click the game and set the amount of memory to store to you computer to 10 MB thats how i fixed it

This game suffers from the same problem achilles had. Enemies get right up on you and attack the hell out of you but you can't hit them at all.

Decent game marred by unpredictable controls.
Paying 50 gold for a 50/50 chance of a normal strike or a quick forward move isn't a good thing.

but quagaar (red dwarf?), you are nitpicking, you know what I mean. Also, If someone is wearing medieval armour, then it is likely to take more than a couple of hits. I know the heads arent armoured, but the high hits may not accurately hit the neck. It would be a hard thing to do 100% of the time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh, and you shouldn't say "in real life you don't know how many hits you need to kill someone" because if you stab someone in the neck "in real life" they die. If you are a good swordsman, you always know you need 1 good hit. Granted every hit will not be a super clean hit that instantly kills, but it really would not take more than 2 ever. I think you meant "in a real life version of a fantasy setting where it is commonplace to survive dieing 12 times before you actually die" which is totally different.

This is a big improvement over Achilles, I hated Achilles but I actually find this fairly worth playing. I wish the enemies were not so resistant to being interrupted... my attacks can get cut off in mid frame, but 80% of the time when I die, my foot was planted in the attacker's chest long before his attack landed. Also, the randomness is too much, I understand some randomness, but hitting a guy 2 times and taking him down to > < much hp, and then hitting him with 3 more of the same sword hit and not even moving his bar is rediculous. Also, at that point it is no longer doing the thing you claim you put it in for; simulating a varying level of toughness in opponents. All this sort of thing simulates is that my character is a very bad swordsman.
