I hate this game. Hate it, hate it. The game feels so wrong and bad. Dude that made this game, just stop making more of these. Please.

it says based on the game achllies but why can't i pick up the spears? by the way 4/5 because not too much originality and can't pick up spears...

gladiator is sooo hard...cant get 5th guy.
possibly change layout for glad. stage...
id like to choose specific attacks rather than my guy do a random special hits so i can better time my attacks.

i hate in gladiator mode the
enemys whit the shils and smol swords or the rest have weak nes
like the guy whit the big sharp thing whit shild just stend on him and he wont hit you at all
the bow guy is just hard just get clos he got low def
bot the guys whit smol swords...i have no idea how to bit them

the game is good...but gladiators is horrible...i hate many of their attacks, they screw up ur strategy. in normal mode, i normally only get like 2 or 3 moves....they suck with all of them... thats a -1 from the score...to a 4/5

best way to beat a sword master is with another sword master, but gladiator complete is something i think a little more than impossible. ever new gladiator their intelligence, health, and damage goes up. by glad 5 each hit takes like 15% out and your hits dont do jack.

Decent. Again, I'm reminded of Kareteka but it suffers the same issues of Achilles. Completely random damage, a lot of luck involved, kick locks, etc. The purchaseables and level selects are nice touches, but it doesn't make up for the combat being the same. Neither in this game nor Achilles have I found a reason to jump, much less jump attack.

finally beat it killed 13 but its just imba shortword always deal 3 x the damage od the longsowrdman he also has shorter cooldown

omg the sword people in gladiator dont stop attacking there is no opening to kill them with. gladiator is just luck. if you dont get a sword master you win if u do u die

Pretty good. Only real problems are the saving (or lack thereof) and kicking... I understand not letting the player's kicks do damage in Gladiator mode, but if you do that to us then it is only fair that you apply the same rules to the computer.
4/5

Twin Swordsman strategy: walk backwards continually striking. If you get too far ahead, pause as breifly as you can and do a stationary strike. Resume your retreat.

Twirler strategy: anywhere from 1st to 9th gladiator, simply hold down T and duke it out with them John Wayne style. You will win because you deal more damage than he does. If you're past the 9th gladiator use the long spearman strategy and hope for the best.

dont wanna be evil grammar person, but if you beat story 4, it says," The giant demon breaths IT last breath," should be its

Any kind of long swordsman strategy: block the entire time. The only time you strike is when he has just done an overhead strike. You'll get him and have time to be on guard again.

Long spearman strategy: get in REAL close, hold down block the whole time, knee crack, attack, block. Repeat, repeat, repeat etc

Okay got it now. I actually beat 16 gladiators with my strategy, and to be honest the only reason I didn't kill the 17th was because I didn't really care anymore and was impatient :)

For me saving didn't work until I comleted episode 1. When I was in the middle of episode 1 I lost my save. Now it's ok.

I'm now at the stage where the impossible badge wouldn't pose much of a challenge if it weren't for the kicking glitch. It's bad enough that sometimes I have to kick a guy into the next area code before I get a knee cracker, but then half the time they don't even acknowledge the crack and just keep on stabbing away.

You did a nice job cleaning up Achilles, but you still need plenty of work. You need to find a way to have complete control over the moves. The random move thing because they are both mapped to the same key isn't cool. If you can't tweak the control scheme, offer a way to turn moves off. Jumping feels useless and fighting multiple enemies is not fun. Kicking does not fit in well. It counters blocking and normal attacks, it should fit in to attacking and you need a new counter to blocking. A ranged attack option would be nice, but not needed.

A dull game gussied up with henchmen and some special moves. However, they can't change the fundamentally dull nature of the game.
