It would be nice if the game could keep the carachter as I developed it during ep. 1-2-3... I was just purchasing the best move (for my combat style) because having the hero perform a random move sucks too much, but then in ep. 4, survival and gladiator mode the carachter uses all moves anyway (randomly selected of course)...

this games the best, good difficulty of enemys, great fighting moves, and very stratigic (sp?) playing. Djstatika does it again!

Finally finished Episode 4. Yay. Not spoiling it.
For hiring mercenaries: use support units, not mindless tanks. Ep1: Use Archers then Mages. Ep2: Use Archers only (Jav throwers suck). Ep3: Axe throwers.

this game is almost the same as Achilles; however, i think that it is a better version. I like this game so far. 3.4/5

i like this game, but come on gladiator mode///this is terrible...I'm not sure why it is harder, the bosses themselves or all my failed kicks or blocked attacks when they have their knee out of place. Fix this and upload it so gladiator mode is a little more fair and then it will get 5/5 but for now, 3/5 for the worst glitches ever.

pretty good game..the only complaint i have is that it gets extremly annoying when the enemys come from behind you..because it draws out the levels even longer and you have to backtrack really far to pick up any gold. that might also be why a lot of people are complaining about it being repetitive..

Hmph! The saving worked fine for episode 1 and 3 but it doesn't work for episode 2. Gotta fix that. I'll have to downgrade from 5/5 to 4/5.

It's better than Achilles in some regards, but even Achilles only had about 3 enemies on screen on the hardest levels. This game repeatedly throws a new bad guy at you every 3 seconds, even if you're trying to finish off the other ones as fast as possible and you still get overrun. Sorry, but it's not fun to have 6 guys attacking you and getting 1 blow in before losing another life. And the hired henchmen walk off the left side of the screen to go get killed by a new enemy so you either let them die or walk back half your progress on the level to save them. I liked Achilles' "Enemies Left" system better, where it was based on how careful you were, not how lucky.

It took me a long time to warm up to this game. I eventually liked enough to give in 3/5, but not before nearly writing it off entirely. Major problems: the last chapter of story mode forces you to use character upgrades no sane person would want, lives are definitely too cheap, no way to deactivate abilities, and damage and timing are too random. Hosts of smaller problems, but a good effort (and certainly lots of work)!

it's a moderately good game, but very annoying to be on the last battle of an episode only to have to stop playing and when you go back it hasn't saved.

shouldn't the dead turn like blow into dust or something? blood... just doesn't work. I mean if it was green, I can understand. Same thing for ogres. Save slots would be a good add too. :) Plus, i think the whole game should run on a a kill basis. Like kill one person or 3 people spawn at the same time. I hate being attacked by an archer then the next thing I know another comes stradling along and attacks me leaving me open for both of them.

Blind luck, random effects, repetitive gameplay. What else could you ask for in a game??? Oh yeah - perhaps a point other than badges.
