Was grinding mage emblems, changed Serene into DPS mode. Suddenly she has 2083 speed. "Walking machine gun" doesn't even begin to describe it. Pro: 10k hp hydra died in 10 seconds. Con: everything else is boring.

The best stat for the archer that you recruit is speed. If you put every stats in there and boost it with some items, you will get "Infinity" Damage Per Second.

All my items, attributes, faction standings etc. got deleted or resetted. I hope you are able to backup my now ruined savegame. Thanks in advance or thanks for nothing.

Got stuck inside a building when I transferred screens while on my mount... Saved, reloaded, and ended up back at the main castle with all of my party members and the same level, but none of my gear and none of the points from leveling up... Also all of my faction reputation has reset back to normal and I have to start over on the quests. Saved and restarted again and I got my abilities and reputations back, but still no items nor attribute points from leveling up. I'm level 16 with the stats and items of someone who just started. =.=

I hate how it saves after every little thing you do. I agree on the Gambler, stops taking advantage. But why the Riddler? I hate having to start the game over and over again because i guessed a Riddle wrong D:

I got to second map with only 3 champions (including me). Now i cannot find Beldon. Is there a way to get back to main map?

I love that when I die I'm revived at nearby city...one thats alllllllll the way across the map while I clearly see closer ones >.<

How do you get into the last map? Finally defeated The Beast. You need your hero to be either the tank or healer to win, impossible to use AI unless you have millions of potions. Swapped roles with my healer/archer (I was dps/archer) and it was just a matter of waiting and not screwing up.

I lost my Merchant Champion, "I was told I could not find him by looking , just go on about my Business"...... do you know how hard it is to kill a boss with only 2 Champs???

It seems that my haste decreases every time I level up, even though my speed increases. Is that a glitch or just a way to stop me from killing the final boss instantly?

Not since Shadow Snake 3 I've been so frustrated with a flash game. And I like the previous HoW games.
Now, instead of exploiting a single move to take down multiple enemies, we can sit back and relax while the party –after being obtained- takes the hits for you. Heck, they’ll even take the potions for you, so stack ‘em up and enjoy.
The game is so glitchy I’ve got stuck on a building over 10 times throughout my play-through. And don’t even get me started on the final boss. God, the framerate drop was unbearable. A fight that prob lasted 10-15 min in-game-time, lasted for 90 min in real timeThe story and gameplay are nothing new besides the addition of a party system. You are a hero, find stones which you can equip on you once you get them and you take sides on the different factions. You know, the same as the previous games.
To the game’s credit, it’s at least playable. 2/5.

Mana / ability system kinda sucks. Main thing in the game is equip up and skill + potion spam. And 20% for the mana potion just makes it freakin annoying considering i can burn my bar in a few seconds.

i wish there were more boss fight.. like kill the beast level1 hardness-level50 hardness something, survival? waves of enemies?.. i got a level49 but got bored so i created another one currently at lvl 26.. btw Blademasters are tank/dps - warders are archer/healer - mercenaries are tank/dps - commoners are caster/healer - haven't tried merchant and magicians.. if you want to get them for party just visit their house/home and do quest, gain rep and they will join you.. max4people in a party including you..

Quick help, please: I did a single quest for the commoners and can't seem to join the merchants. My rep with the merchants is no lower than with the commoners; can I somehow salvage this and start accepting merchant quests?

There is a way to improve the AI Healer's efficiency in short and long term battles. First, uncheck the auto-apply button for your healer and reset the attribute points. Then put all of the points into focus. You do not need grace because your gear alone will give a high base value of grace. Putting points in focus will relieve your healer's high mana consumption due to it's inefficient AI of healing as soon as anyone takes damage. The extra mana combined with the extra mana regen allows your healer to last longer and cause mana potions to heal more since it heals 20% more mana.

WTF is with the shade of Gardius insta-killing my tank one one of his deaths? He moves too fast to kite & kill solo, and will pick off support members quick enough.

I ended up being allied to four factions, including both the merchant and the commoners guild. It's not that difficult to do, just do the unending quests when you're still neutral. It might also be possible with the alliance and shadows. When I restarted the game I tried for magicians, but got stuck when Jocylin didn't give me the memory game. I can't restart the quest, so that's the end of that.

LOL, if you go to the Shadow Runner area with the fire casters in the jungle, and you go to the gap in the bush closest to the West, you can walk off map.
