On lv39, theres a bug where if you put portals on either side of the really narrow wall, put a cube to partially (not completely) obstruct one end, and enter from the other, you'll be stuck. Or it's just that I got somewhere because of lag.

I've had to restart level 38 at least 4 times now because of portals glitching and getting cubes back to the bottom (I haven'tfigured out how to get back there to fetch them). That's very annoying.

Excellent game with a surprisingly large number of levels. 37 and 38 are the most challenging. The only let-down is the occasional glitch, sometimes when dropping a cube through a portal "unaccompanied" instead of coming out of the other portal it will simply fall through the floor to the level below. This was especially noticeable on level 38. Fortunately, the levels are quite short, and most of the challenge is in actually figuring out what to do, so these minor flaws don't impede the experience much.
In fairness, a mechanism like portals must be extremely difficult to get to work glitch-free, and the game as a whole is highly enjoyable and one of the most professionally made that I've seen on Kongregate. I gave it five stars, and I don't do that very often!

Jonathan Coulton did an amazing job doing the theme to Portal, I'm glad to hear he's coming back for the second, if he's playing in a bar near you go see this guy he's great to meet and hear

If anyone here is a science wiz, can someone tell me what system console the console in this game is based on. Or was it created from scratch. someone whisper me.

@ the proffesor, as afrolizrd said, its lyrics from a song called still alive. if you played portal, you would know gladice sings it in the end credits.

This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate
my satisfaction.
Aperture Science
We do what we must
because we can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying
over every mistake.
You just keep on trying
till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are
still alive.
I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart.
And killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you!
Now these points of data
make a beautiful line.
And we're out of beta.
We're releasing on time.
So I'm GLad. I got burned.
Think of all the things we learned
for the people who are
still alive.
