i once had a dream where this game didn't randomly send you to the start while you're using the portals
and that sometimes turrets cubes and you can just completely bypass the environment and you die as a result. so basically i had a dream this game wasn't an infuriating wreck.

Just by the way to all you haters out there, this game was released in 2007... Don't expect the most amazing engines you've ever seen. Still an amazing game.

Glitch holding left while the spikes are falling will prevent the spikes from crushing you, allowing you to give yourself infinite react time once the spikes hit the ground.

This game is ridiculously unforgiving and glitchy. Got to lvl 32 before I wanted to punch my monitor. Energy balls hit area should match it's size, and when a turret falls over it should die, not have the possibility of standing back up and killing you.

So it's Portal...without the third-dimension allowing for good puzzle design and with bad controls. And no funny jokes. Yeeeeaaahhh...okay. 2/5

I would love this game if it werent for bad controls. My character picks the worst time to sprint (usually right next to a pit) 3/5 good puzzles, poor game design.

Rather ironically, this version of the game is what got me into the actual Portal (which is the BEST game ever). So, thanks, I guess. xD

My only issue with this game is that the last few levels are not really "puzzles", in that the concept is obvious but the platforming creates the difficulty, at that point it is no longer a puzzle game but a platformer with a gimmic

You go to take one step and he runs about ten steps, making it impossible to get near some edges. Other than that and the fact that it feels like hes walking on ice, this is fun.
