I cannot sell my pigs on the Rhubarb event island...
I also have no recipe for Rhubarb Pickles, and in the 'main' mission which may provide it, I cannot see how to fulfil the "buy spice packs" goal...

I think I need two more days to finish up this Vulpini event -- which coincidentally is the number of days I started late because of the previous event. I think I'm skipping this next one too.

@dragon91 What wiki are you using because the one I look at has nothing like that and wants me to create a page when I look for specific items
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The events have been getting more and more grueling over the years and make me not want to play the game. So I'm not going to. Done and out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@archerbob wiki says making machetes .... I think I'm skipping this 1. You can unlock the recipes without the event and the reward doesnt seem worth the 3k-4k energy: Handicraft wallaby
Sell for 950 Shells. Interact with 5 Peacock feathers, 1 Strawberries, 1 Plank and 1 Paint.
Gives 35 Experience Experience, 1 Rhubarb Stalks and 1 Peacock feather fan per action.
Regenerates in 24 hours.
Max 1 charge.

Where to get cannibals mask for collections? I need 3 for the Rhubarb Snacks quest to get 3 Spice Packs... very much looking like another event I won't be able to do for reasons outside of my control
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm going to quit Oceania and wanted to let you guys know, someone should post this in the discord as I don't want to spam the channel with multiple alts of mine.
I planted a few crops for people who might want to spice farm for the next few days so enjoy and harvest as many times as you'd want to :).
@DaWorm you should find yourself a different Millbuddy

Missed about 10 rubies on Sunday - no idea how I'd possibly spent them. Politely asked the devs to check my ruby history and tell me what happened. Found the reply today (accidentally bought onions with rubies) together with a refund of 10 rubies! Thank you very much, devs!

@silver first event (manot/tower) I picked the manor for the garlic because i already had max mother nature statue but never finished it. If this event only has 1 path/reward (the tree) thats fine then.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@dragon91, the rewards are 6 garlic for the Manor, 5 rubies and 1 Stoneplant blossom for the Baobab Tower, and the Greenhouse 1 Eostre's Tree. The blossom is used for upgrading Statue of Mother Nature, if it was not obtained by crafting.

@SilverClaws123: Thank you. I guess that is my problem then. I cannot build the greenhouse since I have neither finished the Ancient Temple chapter nor the Glass Merchants quest. I suppose that disqualifies me for this event.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Sir_Gregor, Baobab Saws can be brought form the 'Sale' section of the Shop on the Event Island by trading the Greenhouse Glass for Lilac Branches, then the Branches for the Saws. For the Savannah Rhythms, you can get 36 from completing one of the monuments, or from having some spare/leftover from Building Boom 2025 event.

I do not seem to be able to do anything on the Vulpi event island. For example, where do I get Baobab Saw and Savannah Rhythms?

You can bridge the waiting time for ore with cleaning paths and growing foxes. See wiki for more tips and all main materials
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
By the way, if you're slowly building up iron ore like I am, the wiki suggests that the left mine has the best chances for iron (as opposed to copper). I think it's true, but not today. Today the copper gods have been especially generous.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
just checked the wiki. the current list of supplies says 34 Clay pots, 6 King Crabs
70 Iron ore to upgrade the pearl chests and 15 pearls, 240 cactus flowers,
189 Strawberries, 18 Blueberries, 9 Hay stacks, 54 Prickly melons, 800 planks,
300 nails, 90 volcanic rock

@bakkart I'm stalled there to. Had 40ish to start, so while I'm waiting I've been working on the stone/decorative stones for the gardens/statues
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@bakkart, you're correct with the iron ore. There is a 2nd recipe that takes 15 pieces of iron from the gem mine for 1 iron.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Kind of stalled out on the event with the iron ore needed for the chests. Just to make sure, the only place to get that is the Ancient Metal Mine, right?

If you need to complete the "Helping Hand" quest, feel free to friend me and we can perform actions on each others' islands.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@SuperDos They say the island will keep coming back so any progress many be helpful. I gave up on the first event but it remembers my progress. I can only hope I'll get a chance to finish the tower event someday, but I have yet to see an event repeat.

The bird shaped island left of main island on map is the summer labyrinth giving great rewards. After chopping a baobab you can grab stuff. map: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IYEmTVkrdTjH-jVWLEMr-D3LKOppxtVAss92Z1sOUco

@maya_kovsky, plant then harvest crops, buy salt and/or sugar in the shop for shells, never rubies. Then open the workshop/crafting window, find a food recipe you have ingredients for, then click make. See https://oceania-game.fandom.com/wiki/Food for more details.

@HaroutX Just got the medium badge for Oceania, you have to keep doing main quests (in the Journal they're the Orange tabs, sometimes you need to scroll down with the arrow to find them) there's one for building a campfire that gives +1 max energy, and finishing the Simple Well gives the other +1 max energy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you do not have garlic yet, the event is worth it. it does consume a good amount of energy and time though, as is usual for events. So make sure you dont burn out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@SuperDos I've asked in the chat - got this: Pigjr1 —
21:24
5 garlic cloves + 10 carrots can be used to craft an energy item that gives 6 energy on use (each garlic seed only gives one garlic seed + one garlic clove per harvest) and this MystraMisc —
21:31
so if you use tractor and neighbors, you can gain some energy in garlic and carrots, if you dont use the tractor, you loose energy making this. but still a way to save energy for a later time
Hope it hepls.

Nobody spends money on Kongregate. There may be a handful of whales who are willing to pay here, although I doubt it given the escalating measures that I've pointed out before that the devs have taken to try and get people to spend money, but the problem with this game that they made is that the whales need other players to visit every day. Without those players they can't farm spices, they can't farm experience points for levelling up, and they won't have players with whom to do reciprocal daily actions that have lower requirements if you do them on someone else's island rather than on your own. In other words, the whales won't have much of a game to play if the rest of the player base is pushed away.

anyone know what is the reward for "Isabellas way home Event" and what it gives?
The wiki only says 4 Garlic, which I'm not even sure what that is. I'm trying to understand if it's worth it to do this event or to skip it (I'm still at the Unpacking stage of the Grilling event)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Iergo I know but it isn't going to work. Most players will bail long before. Many already have. Many more will within the next couple of months.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@w4m4w @bakkart Their goal with publishing so many events, is to deplete your storage of resources & energy, so that you spend rubies and ultimately real money.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So, the "unusual meerkats" become ill 9 hours after you feed them. Which means that there is 90% chances you find them ill when you wake up even if you fed them before bedtime.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've decided to ignore most of the events and play only if it promises fun or a reward i like. And - if they don't cost more energy and ressorches than I'm willing to spend. Not speaking of what I'd be ABLE to do. I concentrate on main quest line and island developement:
Nevertheless this "neglected-island-syndrome" that comes with the event inflation is frustrating, discouraging and not inviting at all. It's downgrading game fun for me.
Maybe there is a way to find a balance between "4 events per year" and "4 events per month" that will suit beginners and advanced players and top performers as well?
