I've learned to just prep supplies for events otherwise the time/energy to make them on the spot overshadows the reward. Aside from the manor event quest line I don't think any other event/reward has ever been repeated. So i get them when I can even if they just sit in my storage bag. My fav has to be the iguana from 2024. For 3e and 3 ants everyday I get 7-8 stockpilable energy (1 Pickle jar(2), 1 Lunch basket(3), 1 Apple(1?), 1 Cocoa bean(2)) for future events.

the event was insane from the first two quests, had zero interest in even trying it. Hope to see them better balanced

Why would you let somebody unlock an event island if they don't have everything unlocked that requires it to be completed?

Yeah... no, I gave up. The wait time + the energy & ressources needed were too much for me. I've already spent quite some energy, and a bit of boost (I suppose it was for foxes like you did, and then a couple here and there to correct miscalculations), but I'd rather not dive into a 'sunken cost fallacy' and keep on stressing for 6 (now 5) more days. It's supposed to be fun and not that stressful after all :-) I just 'finish' my dogs and elephants, and harvest the few resources I haven't harvested yet.

@lergo... I said a few days ago(4/22) that I didn't see a way without speed boost(fodder). I had boosted the fox task at that point. Since then I just stayed ahead of it. I just finished the elephants, but I had my horses out almost 2 days ago. You may still get it done without boosts if you have the energy to clear everything for space.

With 6 days to go in the event, being at exercise 11/18, I see on the Wiki that there are still some crazy requirements (horses, koalas...) among the remaining exercises, so I guess I'd better stop now :-(

In the quests to have #animals at same time, do they have to all be healthy/fed? I'm about to hit 72 hens quest, and would rather do 30 at a time and let them starve then spend the energy items.

Can someone help me with the math on this new event. With just guesstimating I don't see a way to complete it without using fertilizer/fodder. Just with dogs (2day), horse/elephant(3days each) is more then half (8/14days) the allotted time.

OK, nevermind. I get where you are. These quests are riddles and you have to figure out what they are asking for. In this case you need to look for an item that has a yellow duck in the picture. The answer for this is a Clay Pool.

@bio962 keep your gems. Use shells. There is no speciale bonus for using gems, but there are things you can buy only with gems. But, some animals you can buy only with gems have more time before going ill. Read carefully what you want to buy.

@CrimsonCat87 yes, it is. My problem rise when i have only 3 pigs and 2-3 person are feeding them. This is more useful whe you have sick animals and you can swap for healing.

Two visitors picked a few of the same pigs for feeding - oh no! (One might have been on mobile, and they might have visited at the same time?)
I had a thought, and figured it couldn't hurt - one visitor got to feed first, then I moved the fed pigs away and put some hungry pigs into the same spots.
Second visitor fed the hungry pigs, succesfully.
It's not a bug, it's a feature :)

@smbfc, you need to disable the privacy setting on your kong account, that's why people aren't showing up in game.
As for the discord link, have you joined the Kongregate server, because that might be why the link didn't work for you.

@SilverClaws123, I went account, friends, add friend, added you, reloaded the game and no friends other than the generic paprick is there. There are blank spots, but not name/avatars.

@smbfc, you need to add people as friends via your Kongregate profile, and if they play they'll then appear in game. https://discord.com/channels/905925539477479445/1156678418662957056 is the kong Oceania chatroom on discord, visit there to get good list of active players to add as friends.

Playing via Kongregate site, cannot add friends. I have added others playing this game, but all my friend slots remain empty. Anyone else have this issue?

@CrimsonCat87 The devs added an outline for crops too? Until yesterday, my experience was that crops has to be tended, because they don't have the outline! And only animals have the warning.

About the trouble of getting friends to harvest strawberries - if the orange and red "warning icons" only show up at a certain percentage of time left, and strawberries have a very short life span, it would make that people don't notice that the strawberries are in need of harvesting, because they only get a warning icon shortly before they go bad. And people looking across the island for red or orange icons are less likely to notice the strawberries, because their icon doesn't show until it's very close to wilting (and what are the odds of someone dropping by in that window of time to harvest a full field?)
Short crops are best harvested by yourself, in my opinion.

@tobybob I don't think so. I have it popped in my map weeks ago. Maybe u can unlock it when you are far enough with the main quest, or when you have a certain amount of reputation

@JaziahBaer Maybe they are overlooked because placement or because they are too similar to other long time crops when not ripe. Try place them near the raft.

Not sure how I manage to get beans and onions harvested without fail but strawberries have consistently been going bad as people are choosing to do other actions lmao - is there a reason people are ignoring strawberries until they go bad, or are that many people taking a break from the game after the anniversary event?

I thought this event wasn't too bad overall, except for the squirrels. Just a heads up for the end game, though, that there's a hidden quest to have three ponds built at the same time. For most players, there's going to be only three spots available, one of the being at the top near the original raft. I unfortunately put a few paths or fields right behind those peacocks and now I can't move/delete them, which means I won't be able to place a third pond. So a word of caution (and maybe help?).

The entire event for the anniversary is a mess, for me. Unclear priority of the quests, maybe too little time to do things. Not a fan of it. And, where are the others fireplaces? I have only one and it took an eternity to have it on the map <.<

@SuperDos @bakkart the squirells come when you are 4 min on the island. And after you unlocked the last part of the island there come crabs wich needs gudgeons to feed (get hungry every 12h) and this counts for Crazy lobsters. You don't need to accelerate.

I found the quests for the anniversary event to be very unclear and of course will not be able to complete them all. Hope to see some polishing for next years!

@superDos thank you very much. About the lobsters: 11 new will come after last shaman use. bakkart is right about the squirrels.
my technique is to watch for the save symbol, when it appears, new squirrel.

I was wondering the same thing, Super. My guess for the lobsters is that they want you to use accelarators. My fear for the squirrels is that you have stay online on the island for them to appear every 4 minutes.

Two things I don't understand about this quest:
1. Crazy Squirrels - where do I get more? I've clicked 35 but I need 70 and there are none left on the map
2. Cozy Lobsters - there's only 2 on the map? How do I get to 36 of them when they get hungry in 24 hours? Have to use Accelerate?
