so if you use tractor and neighbors, you can gain some energy in garlic and carrots, if you dont use the tractor, you loose energy making this. but still a way to save energy for a later time

Nobody spends money on Kongregate. There may be a handful of whales who are willing to pay here, although I doubt it given the escalating measures that I've pointed out before that the devs have taken to try and get people to spend money, but the problem with this game that they made is that the whales need other players to visit every day. Without those players they can't farm spices, they can't farm experience points for levelling up, and they won't have players with whom to do reciprocal daily actions that have lower requirements if you do them on someone else's island rather than on your own. In other words, the whales won't have much of a game to play if the rest of the player base is pushed away.

anyone know what is the reward for "Isabellas way home Event" and what it gives?
The wiki only says 4 Garlic, which I'm not even sure what that is. I'm trying to understand if it's worth it to do this event or to skip it (I'm still at the Unpacking stage of the Grilling event)

So, the "unusual meerkats" become ill 9 hours after you feed them. Which means that there is 90% chances you find them ill when you wake up even if you fed them before bedtime.

I've decided to ignore most of the events and play only if it promises fun or a reward i like. And - if they don't cost more energy and ressorches than I'm willing to spend. Not speaking of what I'd be ABLE to do. I concentrate on main quest line and island developement:
Nevertheless this "neglected-island-syndrome" that comes with the event inflation is frustrating, discouraging and not inviting at all. It's downgrading game fun for me.
Maybe there is a way to find a balance between "4 events per year" and "4 events per month" that will suit beginners and advanced players and top performers as well?

Are they serious with this relentless event stuff? In their attempt to keep the overachieving players busy (which is only a small percentage of the player base) they are going to alienate everyone else.

I'll point out that for the Grilling Event, planting Spicy Fields is a great way to increase your wheat (and black onions) stock. I'll probably continue planting and harvesting them after finishing the event until the timer ends

@uehara, no, usually, when you login after such downtime, all plants and animals are revived.
The revival starts at your login,
But please note that the timer on all revived stuff is short. (don't remember if it's only 1 or 2 hr)

Sometimes after an outage like this they nicely have Paprick come on and tell you he fed all your animals and watered (?) your crops while you were away. Not a guaranteed thing, but nice when it happens.

@archerbob: You might've misread the relevant page on the wiki- ordinary lambs will suffice for the Uncle's Island quest. Quests involving collecting berries and mushrooms can be fulfilled by raising hedgehogs, as adult hedgehogs drop berries and mushrooms when fed.

You can sell normal lambs, you don't need black lambs, and you need to raise hedgehogs to get the berries, which are a rare drop when you feed the adults.

@SuperDos the 40 black lambs you need to sell which can only be purchased for 5 gems apiece... Not that it matters much as I found another quest that seems to be bugged: Collect 45 Forest mushrooms or Wild berries on Uncle's island. I say its bugged as for the entirety of the event not one has spawned on the Uncle' island for me

I will say this for the latest event -- referring to grilled peaches is a point in their favor. If you've never grilled peach halves with cinnamon and/or brown sugar and served them with ice cream ... make a point to do so soon.

I have 90 energy and the only energy I have bought was one super-strength potion as part of a quest. Once you unlock competition island you will get an extra 2 energy a month for every time that you complete it.

Just in case you see this and you haven't seen the comment in the Wiki - for the pumpkins on the Uncle Gardening Event - you have to buy the pumpkins and not plant them from your pack

u need the 'closed barrel' (looks like the decoration barrel) u got from the 1st quest of the barrel questline. it's in your backpack (reputation crown tag) if not already placed

I am stuck with the quest "what´s inside the barrel" and need help. Is it really the barrel from the decorations-menu, because there´s no button to upgrade it. After building it, I can only sell, move, rotate or put it in the storage. There´s also no help in the wiki.

according to the wiki every collectible drops at a 5% chance. keep in mind: raven feathers only drop by feeding (baby) ostriches on your own island

What is the rate of getting raven feathers from feeding ostriches? I've fed 70 or so without getting any, should I keep trying or give up on the event?
