By the way, for Firefox users who want to stop the top banner not scrolling off the top of the screen but don't know how: press F12 and it's the Inspector tab to the left. Find the line saying "sticky top-0 z-100" (it'll highlight the banner thing if you hover your mouse over it) and delete that line; it only stops the banner following as you scroll and leaves the version at the top of the page. I'm not sure how to do it in other browsers; for Chrome, you might need to use DevTools.
Also, I notice that, despite all the supposed improvements, comments still don't seem to support simple linebreaks. Guess I'll test a couple of possibilities here, just to be sure.[br][p]If that didn't work, this will look stupid.

@KeeperBvK: So, on top of the obvious problems with this unnecessary layout downgrade, some people get to have special bonus problems, for that personal touch! What fun! Totally worth changing the theme that worked for the last decade!
(I'd suggest just using the search feature, but that seems to have vanished as well.)
My own bonus problems seem to be the site now slowing Firefox, which it didn't before. Anyone else getting this too? Maybe we should make a bingo card.
Oh, just in case anyone on the Kongregate staff is reading this: that was sarcasm. I'd imagine that to be obvious, but so are many of the flaws with this new layout, and it was forced on us anyway. Could we at least have that "sticky top" thing made optional, so we don't have to manually disable it in the DOM and Style Inspector?

I'm glad I'm not the only one with these problems. I can only access the games I still have in my browser history. Nothing else works. Before that I had problems to get any game loaded for 1,5 weeks. It was pretty annoying. And now banners and description cover the games too and make it hard to play. Why all the changes?

@KeeperBvK: I can see recent games by hovering over "Games" at the top; they're the three games to the left of the playlist (uglier than the old way, though). But yes, the new theme is definitely worse. For example: didn't checking messages show the number of messages before, and open in a new tab? Now it just has a near-meaningless dot and opens in the same tab, so if you happen to click during a game, now you have to go back and reload the game (and probably have lost progress).

Planting seeds on individual tiles is way more difficult than it should be, especially when you've already planted some things on adjacent tiles.

I have all but cleared my island of vegetation but I still need 80 lianas to make rope and straw for quests. What is the easiest way to get them? Just plant a whole load of thorns?

i wish "Helped check mark" on bottom friend icons.
i cant remember i helped who in over 100 friends.
i often load helped islands, its not good for server.

Have you checked the ENERGY-section (marked with the lightning symbol) in your inventory? Watermelons do NOT go to the food-section. You have tu "use" them from the energy-section in order to get food.

@x_n0na_x You have to accept the Oceania site cookies in your browser. I have Chrome: You have to click on the lock-icon next to the site name in the searchbar then go to "cookies and site data" --> "manage cookies and site data"
and under "other sites" you have to click on the ":" next to "Oceania site cookies (forgot name)" and then either click on "accept cookies or accept cookies and delete them after i closed all windows" doesnt matter which one.
If it asks you to accept/decline cookies ingame you can just click decline if you dont want their analytics.

Well I grew some more and made a point to harvest them straight away and have them as soon as the ripened... my guess is despite having a wither time of 48 hrs listed, its actually less. I dunno what else could've happened to the first one I grew, it went to Narnia

I've been playing the game for about 2 weeks now without any major issues. But since yesterday the game doesn't load anymore. The screen stays all white. :-(

Have you checked your energy section of your backpack? Watermelons are special and not together with the plantable food...

I planted a watermelon, grew it, it takes 2 days to wither... I get on within the grace period and there is no watermelon where it should be and it's not in my backpack. How is one supposed to get feed for their animals when stuff just vanishes... the only feed I have got in this game I got from gifts from friends. I have 1500+ wood, 500+ shells and I have never had over 100 feed that I need for a quest

@Yamamba 20 free gifts per day is what you can receive, and a total of 60 FREE gifts receiving until it is completely full.

@Devs It would be cool, if visitors would spawn at the "Help Here"-sign (or one of them)
That way, people could still choose, what they do, but "good" helpings would not be overlooked so easily.
Also I think it would save lots of time for the visitors, who don't have to scroll through the entire isle first.

Is there a problem with this game? It keeps timing out when I try to load it (other games on K seem to work just fine), and I'm worried that my cats need to be fed...

Hej, I think there should be something more visible than the yellow halo when a friend animal or plant has already been fed or picked.

@keeper: the second emerald is in the bush right next to the bridge. not the thorns, but the topmost bush you can find

@mystramisc: I definitely don't have the scond one, yet. But I just found a bush in the far back of my island. I will have to cut through several trees and tons of thorns/grass to get there. ORZ

@KeeperBvK you cant get more bushes. are you sure you dont already have the 2 emeralds. Many people find them even before they get the quest, check your backpack. If not check to make sure that no bush is hiding behind something.
