I don't know if it's an "undocumented feature" or not, but I keep knocking the snail shell through the ground, sometimes into inaccessible (as far as I can tell) places. Other than that, perfection.

Annoying bug, when jumped hold in the "s" in air and then press left or right when landed and then it wont stop running. well at least it didn't when i did so.

you know that kid out on the soccer field that has all the grace and coordination of the star-wars kid, who only manages to accidently kick the ball further away from him, every time he gets close to it? Yeah, that's about how I feel after nearly an hour of trying to move that snail shell around to the right spot --only to have it back where it started at. :(

Feoren wtf are you on? This game is AWESOME! Smooth graphics, smooth gameplay, smooth physics. I havn't found a single bug so far. 10/10!
Well, only bad thing was that the game was kinda short...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think that this was the first card that wasn't extremely easy. 4/5, good gameplay though.
Anyway, once you get the hang of shell-juggling, you're able to keep it up for longer and longer until you hit 20. First level IMO is easiest for it.
Just wait till it's still, jump on it and keep on hitting it with a jumping header, trying to keep it going straight up every time. Good luck. :P

FPA W2 certainly sets the standard for Flash Platformers. Whilst it does require some refinement it is more than enjoyable. People complaining about physics are just frustrated they can't work with it. "Why be realistic when you can be fancy?" And don't complain about a game that's difficult because YOU can't hack it. That's like saying green vegetables are bad for you because you don't like the taste. Loved the guest levels, biting my nails for world three.

It's an alright game, not great. The snail shell is tricky to manipulate and it's interesting that you would use 's' instead of spacebar to jump. Not sure if it's a bug or meant to be that way but the vine just before the golf hole in the last level lets the shell slip through where it connects to the wall but the guy doesn't fall through it. 3/5

The snail golfing and juggling is frustrating. The controls could be a _tiny_ bit more responsive, but otherwise work perfectly...
The animation is great (watch him spiral out of the cannon!) and the levels are damn near beautiful, especially the cityscape and the Brackenwood.
I think there are a few things that could be tweaked, but otherwise...
Wonderful job - 4.5/5

You know you've got a great game when the very worst comments boil down to either "I don't like platformers so I don't like it" or "My computer can't play this game properly, so I don't like it".

Irritating controls, buggy physics, annoying crap to collect. I can see why some people like it, but I am sad that I have to play this game to get the card.

Really cool platform game, i love the use of momentum and ramps, very sonic-like but in a much more enjoyable pace. Could probably use a little more types of enemies, spiders are nice and all but not very..fancy?
Animations are very smooth and enjoyable with lots of extra stuff that improves the play experience, such as the headbanging and the "James Bond stance". Music is decent, doesnt make me hum along but doesnt make me turn it off either. Controls, the perhaps most important thing in a platform game, are among the best ive encountered in a flash game.
One thing that was a bit bad in my eyes was the impact of the trophy rooms. The visuals in there made the ordinary levels look very blend and downright boring in comparison. I would also like the arrow that points toward the shell to be more visible. Its very small and dark, making it hard to see against certain textures.

Creed? I don't have any idea what you're talking about. The controls on this game are VERY responsive for me. Works perfectly and very precise. O_o

found an easter egg (may have already been said?) keep pressing down down down. doesn't matter where as long as you are standing.

One last thing CreedP.
"And chibi – at least I’m smart enough to change my avatar, or post in the forums about it, not in a game comment."
Seriously, did you have your hand in the shape of an 'L' on your forehead when you came up with that? Just rude, no value otherwise. For 36 you act like a 12 year old.

No ma'am. And who cares who doesn't like what or who can't play something. It's insulting a group of people who enjoy playing a game that's the issue. Since someone hates it and can't play it everyone is expected to hate it, right? Shame on you for a enjoying a simple platformer on a site like kongregate. This is a site populated mostly by kids who upload their flash games. You can't be a snob on a site like this. If you hate a game then hate it! I can't stand DTD but I don't insult the people who enjoy it.

The game is fine, Creed. Listen to reason and take the plank out of your eye before you demand the speck of an automatic action taking predecence over an ordered action taken out.

4 out of 5. The Great Visual Style Returns! love it. The Controls Seem a wee bit messed to me, I would have made the space bar jump. The wall jumping is a little glichy but still awsome when you get the hang of it... oh and the music. Love the music!
Now... How do you defeat the bunny?

DrNeroCF - sorry to have spammed your comments, wasn't expecting to be told I was wrong for my opinion. But yes, I'm running right, holding the right key, pressing jump.. and doing a backflip to the left. If that's how you want it to function, then that's how it is, but I don't agree with that, anymore than I'd rate Hexiom for giving me a 4 tile when I chose a 6. :) (and the keyboard is brand-new, thanks, heh)

No sir, I say 'fanboys' because they can't handle any criticism towards the thing they idolize, and anyone who doesn't agree with them MUST be wrong, rather than just having their own opinion. And Sullimart, shame on you for your hypocrisy, you have your share of negative comments including here. "Games I have trouble with"? I have all of the badges save the new ones, check your facts before you bash other users.

Why is it if a game becomes popular and is truly enjoyed by the masses, the masses become "fanboys?" I realize being it's "cool" or whatever to be the only one who hates a popular game but seriously, acting 13 and insulting those who enjoy it is just immature. Liking it or hating it is a personal preference. Acting like everyone is stupid but you because they enjoy something is ridiculous. For me the game controls are incredibly simple and easy for some people they are to much. But I don't think I'm better because of it. It's game site, chill out.

Note for all... especially Brad: Don't take any of CreedP's comments seriously. He is Mr. Negativity on all games he has a hard time playing. It's should come as no suprise that CreedP has made the same bogus control complaints on many games. He's not worth any attention here... especially on such a well received game around the entire flash game community. You can see Mr. Negativity's other nasty comments here: http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/CreedP/comments

Bottom line, game has potential, but for me, player control and processing the input is more crucial that cuteness or funny features. If button X (in this case, the letter S) is jump, then jump when it is pressed, it shouldn't be optional. And for my opinion, that makes a good game bad, and very unpleasant to play. I'll score the badges like every other game, but my rating? Still 1/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sorry, fanboys, guess you don't listen to reason - and you've never played Mario, who could manage to jump instead of having some twisted ADD that made him kick a dead creature instead of obeying the player input. Think about what you write next time.
And chibi - at least I'm smart enough to change my avatar, or post in the forums about it, not in a game comment. Please, guys, think for yourselves instead of just following the herd of sheep when you comment.

snail shell's physics are quite iffy and the combo loss from striking a wall is totally bogus. also, it's very frustrating when i'm trying to bobble the shell and a pop-up cloud/sign hint gets in the way. just my 2¢

Ack, I shouldn't say I don't see what's special, it's very unique, I just don't seem too much funner than other games I've played.
