Guide to beating the game without having to use wings: Max Defense stat, get some MP regen, stock up on potions. MP should only be used to Heal. I went from level 30-80 (last level) without having to leave the cave. Game's pretty easy tbh.

Suggestion for developer: Don't center the map around the player. This makes it easier to move around without becoming so dizzy

great game, my only issue is how hard it is to collect all legendaries >.< I've done a few full run troughs and I still miss a lot of stuff :(
also, there are a few balancing issues, the biggest of wich is the wisp monster : it does crazy damage because of all its elemental attack, so maybe he appears too early in the stages ? another option would be to make better enchanting ingredients that give more elemental defence/ all elemental defence. I only stopped taking damage from them when I could 100% one shoot them... feels kinda wrong xD

This game is great. If you love rpgs/rouge-likes this is the game for you. This game gets a lot of praise and i see why. However, I would have liked to see a new game plus mode or some kind of difficulty increasing mechanic as the game was far too easy. Also, mana regeneration and health regeneration seem OP from balance stanpoint.
With that said 9/10

Lost the game on final boss by trying to click his stats, no way to exit the battle. Now i'm lvl 14 like 2 hours back, oh the salt is real.

i think the ultimate potion obtained from the berry quest from the guy in the inn would be useful in defeating the boss and his accomplices in floor 80.

I just noticed something. Floor 40 merchant has a cat named Patches...That little crap better not kick me off a cliff and steal all my stuff, I'll be pissed off.

Would be more fun if I could save my progress. Especially if I could save it to a .txt file or something like that so it will end up being my fault if my save is deleted.

Originally thought this wasn't going to be as good as the first by the look of the game. Was really mistaken. Took me maybe as long as 8 hours of casual play to beat the game. Thought it really wasn't long enough and would have loved either boss to be harder or the game itself longer. Beat the final boss with 2 small health pots, 16 medium health pots and 6 large health pots.

I must say, this game is pretty darn good. The only issue I had is that by Floor Level 30, I didn't need to use wings for the rest of the dungeon. I went from 30-80 without returning to town. The MP regen + heals + all the junk you get along the way result in enough money to buy a ton of HP/MP potions at shops which carry you all the way until the final boss. I also realized that maxing out my Defense stat allowed me to grind through 30 or so floors without taking any damage. Otherwise, great game! I'm just a little disappointed that I was able to roll through so many floors without having to use the wings.

Really good game, except I feel the artifacts have a tendency to repeat themselves a little too often, especially at the beginning. 7 Shiny Bronze Armours by my second run is a little much.

this game has a future but rather than keep buying things, the game should have an inventory so large that it can fit all the things the character get. and what is the purpose of getting those things if u cannot have them? what is the purpose of this game if u cannot save it? 1 out 5, it should have been -5.

Why not just sell the cloth bags for more gold? Also, being able to walk *AROUND* chests would be useful. Another thing... Once you get to floor 40, it's the long haul. sorry.

I wish you could give stuff to friends. I know you would give them something broken, so why not have the items be within 0-25 stats better.

Major props, Dustin.
I absolutely LOVED the first game. You managed to make this one so much deeper and complex. Its a thrill, getting prepared before a run.

This game is great, but the first one had more of a twist at the end while the end in this game is a bit lacking story-wise. Sure, the journals make a great premise for reaching the final floor, but the 80th floor was very anti-climactic in my opinion. After hearing about his plans, you'd think the sorcerer would put up a little bit more of a fight, and maybe spend his time in a room that looks a bit more epic than just a furnitureless square. More side quests from NPCs would also be awesome, and maybe some more interaction between characters too, so you don't feel like Mr. Generic. Speaking of 'Mr', an option to play as another gender would be good to include as well. It would have been cool if the character changed his appearance when you change equipment. It's a lot of work, though, but maybe an idea for a possible sequel? Critique aside, I did enjoy the game enough to replay it from level 10 when dying on level 70-something, so you've absolutely got a winning concept gameplay-wise.
