Very fun time waster, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good rouge-like rpg that can suck up hours of time, I even bought it for my phone for 2.99.

I'm on my first playthrough and I think I made a mistake by focusing attack. Late-game, it looks like if I had put all my attack points into defense I'd be able to get through every enemy without taking any damage (except a little from plasma wizards because I don't have all the elemental resistances). Even with my 76 +58 damage it takes a pretty long time to kill high-level units and I think going for survivability is much more worth it

Good game... Kinda wish you could cancel if you accidentally start running away though, right now your forced to keep taking damage even if you are one blow away from killing a target and only accidentally clicked somewhere else.

The Enchanted Cave 2 is really, really, really, really grindy.
Visuals: Ugly, sorry but even me as pixel-connoisseur find this game ugly
Audio: Fine, every 20 stages the music changes. The loops are long enough but everything else sounds off.
Story: You can grasp a little bit of the story by reading journal entries hidden throughout the cave but you can also miss that entirely. The story itself is boring.
Controls: Arrow-keys and mouse. Works fine, very pleasant in the beginning after an hour...not so much
Gameplay: Fun for the first hour. After that it's just boring. Nothing changes. You keep doing the same thing over and over again until you reach a certain level and destroy the end boss. It is not fun.
Rated A for Ah, for f**ck sake make a game without grind.

I would liked to name my potions that I crafted, as strange as it may sound. I think that it would make identifying which crafted potion is which easier.

I do not understand the function of the museum. If we do not like an artifact item could not we sell it? I was hoping for it to be a function like in Swords and Souls (more equipment in the museum, more money every few minutes). Am I missing something?

This game is long, 80 lvls, but the difficulty increases gradually. There is a variety of creatures and items, allowing you to enchant each one to have specific characteristics as healing, decimate, bleeding, mp regen. Besides the healing spell, the other that I liked was transmutate, because you can keep the item.

so you take away enchanting armor with hp regen/mp regen but you can still find items with mp regen why??? if your going to take a feature completely take that feature or just leave it (what im saying is re add enchanting armor with hp regen and mp regen)

Great game, good concept, however, it got a little repetitive after a while and I got bored. It would have been nice to have the secret rooms w/ the journals closer together as they were my main motivation for playing.
