Magic spells are actually useful, if you come across a monster that might be harder to kill than others, drag the magic spell over your character before you attack, then as soon as you hit him once use your spell. It weakens the enemy well.

I can't believe myself, I beat 50 floors without the escape wing, and I hate those Young Ninjas! I almost died at one point with 40 hp remaining from a Rock Golem. I healed. The end-boss was epic! And ironic how the Merchant was the final boss! I thought it would be a dragon. Fun game, 5/5!

Great game, well thought out. Not meaning to be imature but it's bugging me-is is just me or does the "escape wings" look a lot like a bra?

This is the most lazily ill-conceived game I have ever seen in my entire life. 100% automated combat? No healing potions available in the store? Temp-saves only? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!!

Ok guys, for whoever lost datas in the infamous update here is the solution for all of you :) IMPORTANT: Close all of your browsers before doing this operation. a) Locate in your computer the folder "chat.kongregate.com" (use the search function in windows) b) Browse the folder ...\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0008\1947\live\ c) Backup the content of the folder (in case there is any problem) d) You'll see 2 folders inside: transfer the file ECSaveData.sol from ...\TheEnchantedCaveKong.swf\ to ...\TheEnchantedCave.swf\ (overwrite if needed) Please don't let this comment die :)

It would be nice of the "save game" option didn't bring you back to the first floor without so much as a warning... floor 89 to floor 1 in just a single click. awesome....

Pretty good & simple game mechanics; but the game over is way too frustrating. Good challenge for "core gamers" i suppose. For the others like me, you just loose 1h30 because of a single crash of firefox. 2/5

btw, there is a bug with instant kills that sometimes lets really fast enemies get free hits on you after you hit them but before they die. The lag time should be fixed. Not a big deal, just thought I would mention it.

Saulens, you assassinate by using an instant kill item. So far I have only seen two instant kill items, one is a mid-level amulet artifact and one is a high level amulet you can buy in a store.

Tips for Traveling- Always go for gems and artifacts. every time you get one of those, your quest becomes a little easier. Don't waste health going for the little coin bags, instead, you get more then enough fighting. But, if you see an ungaurded coinbag, go for it!
Dont make unnecessary fights. it wont make you much more gold, and it will sap your health. When you reach a shop, and you know you cant go on, sell everything except artifacts, and use escape wings. Then, you will start again with more gold. Rate "+" if this was helpful, and keep this note alive!

Sorry but the save system is terrible, I was on floor 93 or something hadn't saved, and wasn't paying attention and died, lost everything have to start back at floor one, yea it's mostly my fault but I've never seen a game with a save system that's out to get the player

Great and addicting game. Didn't get it at first but got in to it, got the "Ninja Amulet" really good... 10% chance to insta-kill. I'm on a good run, i escaped the cave at 19 and am still going at 64.

i really enjoyed this game. it was pretty easy, i didnt use a spell once except the healing ones. alot of fun, cant wait to see more from this developer.

it's pretty good, not as good as the ancient cave in the lufia series, but a nice attempt...
however, the statups are way to many, and after 3 tries I finished the game :(

while not incredibly fun, it is enjoyable. It is insanely addicting game however. It is a good first game and pretty fun. the fun gives it a 4/5 and the addiction gives it 100101010100101001/5.... no, that isn't binary.

On the first floor, I started to battle a Green Goo. About 10 minutes have passed and I'm still fighting it, and we're both at full health.

isopownyou - click and drag the wings onto you your charector that moves not the equipt screen and drop it and problem solved... eveyone if you just use your items stratigicly the game is a chinch dont just use the "best" or "strongest" look at all of the effects of a weapon not just some of them

love the game, could use more bosses maybe or harder stuff after the game. I mean you get this sweet 200atk sword at the end and then theres nothing to use it on really :/

the game is quite good, but what you get in chests are WAY to random for example you can get like the third worst pants in like lvl 25 x( overall ill give it 4/5 and a good work^^
