all in all a nice game for the simplicity and time used to create it. did it 3 complete runs (1-100). that said i still have some smaller complaints: 1st: magic is nearly unuseable, esp. battle magic. 2nd mana "regeneration" is too weak for later levels (might be on purpose). 3rd: agility seems to be useless, as u cant beat a golem (6 agi) 3 times (with 75 agi) before he hits u 2nd time. said thing. 4th: damage taken only slightly depends on own armor and resistivity crossing a certain level. HM.

Its incredible to see such a simple hack-and-slash game be so addicting. Especially when you make it to level 98 without warping out since level 19, then dying.... ARRRGGGHHH!. And yet, I still come back to try it again. Excellent work. 5/5.

I played to level 68 then I died and whent back to level one.. I said FML then played a game of HoN and whent to bed, the next day (today) I played to level 97, missclicked and attack a golem with 100 hp left.. Now I will say FML and go to bed.... Please make it easier to save!

if you're like me and went through levels 40 - 99 in one quest, don't worry about the boss. it's not worth going back just before the fight. just make sure to buy 2 hp pots at the lvl 99 shop. the boss hit me for about 60 - 80 damage a hit with no suprises. his hp was 2800 (i think). If you're full hp and have some decent items, your fine.
Some general tips:
-the best defense is a good offence, usually.
-always try to have just enough agility to get the first hit.
-intelligence is mostly useless (only heal is very useful)

Reached level 72, saw a straight line of monsters, held down the Down key to kill them all... didn't notice that my health was low...... crappy game. (5/5 anyway)

To use the escape wings (or any magical item) just drag it over to your character. The one you control, not the sketch where you drag equipment.

After I got a mithral longsword and a healing spell I just barrelled down to level 100. Bought healing potions on the way, of course, but like Ultra695 said: "once you get heal spell you can go WAY farther down."

geez i had the best starting set of artifacts ive ever seen, survive to floor 29, check out floor 30, think i can beat a dwarf on 60 hp and DIE. All artifacts are gone and i have to do it again...

It seems after getting to floor 35 and having upped my stats and gotten lots of nice artifact gear, I encounter a bug battling a green frog. My char and the frog deal damage the first turn, then they keep battling but no damage done. So at first I thought wow, dodging... but it's been like that overnight.
Luckily, aftrer refreshing the page I restart at the same point where I last used the escape wings with the same gear and stats at that point in time.

Oh my god. I die on floor 88 on the last monster, (how does an attack of 150 hit 60's on me when I have 400 armor anyway?) So i'm like "ok, i'll just got back to floor 69 with all my nice artifacts that I had by them." BUT NO, your artifacts, stats, and shop position are saved when you use the escape wings. So I'm ALL THE WAY BACK at floor 19, with my sucky gear, this sucks major dick. Fixing of this would seriously be nice.

WHY?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? Just when I've gotten so far, without using the Escape Wings, just on the place before the next shop, just when I was about to kill that last monster, it killed me with the exact amount of HP that I had left. WHY!?!?!?!?............... Curse you non-auto-save.
