Pretty decent game 3/5. I'll return to it when the bugs are fixed. After loading my save, I can't view the stats of some of my items and cannot remove them from my character either.

How to use a potion?? Bought a potion for 350g which is 10 times as much as a piece of equipment.
And I sold my Amulet of Fright, which is 1000g worth, but I didn't get any money! FAIL BUG

@goticangel the "eyes" are passive click on an enemy and if you have the "eye" for a specific stat you can see that stat.

okey maybe i´m stupid but how do you use those eyes i tried everything (i think) but draging it to yourself or something else doesn't work

Wow that merchant has a good pyramid sceam going. Go in collect stuff, drop it, buy stuff, go in, drop it, buy stuff, go in drop it...
Not to mention when you die....
When I realized how much money he made as a salesperson I knew I would have to kill him later... no idea why he sold me health potions on level 99 tho (:

as soon as i buy an expensive sword/armour piece, i find it in the next level in a red chest...this is just frustrating

Great game. IMO, one of the best in Kong. I agree with the Hotkey suggestion, but that can wait until the sequel. *wink wink*
Anyway, I read that this is the creator's first game? If it is then hats off to you, DustinAux, for creating a great game.

Once I save and quit and turn off my computer and then come back I can never seem to load my game. What am I doing wrong?

As per the shop keeper (i.e. a popular comment above) I think this is his part of his twisted little game or something.

Its a good game. A bit frustrating at first before I realized it wasn't to be played like your average dungeon crawler. I'm not so sure I'm entirely happy with the concept, but I like it nonetheless. I have to agree with the magic being a tad under-rated though.

that was the shortest amount of time I needed to spend for a badge ever. (found the wings in a chest on the 2nd floor beating exactly 2 enemies)

Love this game. I've played through the floors twice now to get really strong. 300+dmg/def. Hope to see an Enchanted Cave 2 with more floors/items!

Love this game. Took a few minutes for it to grow on me -- the whole start over aspect seemed a little awkward at first. Now it's the simplest thing in the world. Only complaint would be magic. Doesn't seem implemented very well. A skillbar would be much better. Other than that, great game. I stick around this site for stuff like this. 5/5

To use the escape wings drag them to the character in the game not the equip slot the actual character fighting the creatures

You a mage or wanna try go for a good melee and magic combo against tougher mobs?
The trick is to have your spell ready BEFORE attacking a mob. Simply click and hold an attacking spell. Then attack and make sure your first melee attack lands, then release mouse button to activate spell. Hint: if you have elemental eyes, you can use an elemental spell the mobs are weak to (granted u have found a few spells).

rofl: yesterday i got NO achievement. Today by clicking on the Gobelelet to see my medals, i got the 10-medals-badge, and the 10-medals tick showed @ the second achievent. I did a dungeon, and now i got the wings-used badge, the 10-medals badge is gone, the 10-medals tick on the 2nd achievement vanished, and i got the 120 damage tick there instead xD

So here's the deal people so that you don't make the same mistake I did. If your not logged in and decide to hit "New Game" then it will replace your old saved file. My character that was on level 59 is now back to one. Just a warning to everyone else playing this game that while its a great game the saving qualities are a little rough around the edges.

When you go to buy the HP potions, is he purposely giving you useless crap instead? Cause i keep buying the 900g potions and get stuff like gloves and boots. Anybody else experiencing this problem?

I was wrong before about the escape wings. They do come in red chests. So here's a new summary of my previous advice: When starting out, don't waste your life fighting. Focus on getting yellow chests; items in yellow chests are quite helpful and carry over to your next game. Red chests often have useful items, but on level 4 and higher (numbered) levels, they may have an escape wings. Just go for the ones you can get to easily. The escape wings will keep re-spawning until you get one, so you can't miss it or anything. Money will be easy to come by once you are stronger, so don't waste your health fighting for money bags. Also, buy potions when you can. Use the escape wings to bounce outta there when you get weak (drag it onto your character). Make a few more short runs, gathering yellow items, and you'll be doing good.

Ok i would really appreciate it if it gave a number of how much this amount of armor reduces damage. So i have 121 armor WTF DOES THAT MEAN!
